Virginia City, NV

9/2/2026 Virginia City, NV - It is a mountain town, located on higher side of the mountain. The road is narrow, winding and elevation goin and lose quickly. This mining town is active town, a means there are many cars parked side of the road. Each residential property is tiny and many houses are standing on cliff side.


Chidago Canyon RA, CA<
9/3/2026 Chidago Canyon RA, Bishop, CA - Stopped by a famous RA site in the Volcanic Tableland north of Bishop, by Fish Slough Road; they've now built a fence.


Serpent Site (Fish Slough Roadside West RA), CA
9/3/2026 Serpent Site (Fish Slough Roadside West RA), CA - While driving Fish Slough Rd, I saw RA, stopped the car, and explored the area. Only 1/4 mile hike, no trail, no parking, but there are many petroglyphs. This place is 4 miles north of the Chidago Canyon RA site. Both quantity and quality are similar to the Chidago Canyon RA site. Waypoint is: 37° 37' 41" -118° 25' 56". If you find it, don’t tell anyone about it.

Fish Slough Roadside East RA, CA

9/4/2026 Fish Slough Roadside East RA, CA - This place is less than one mile north of Fish Slough Roadside West. There are large rock walls, fading petroglyphs, and missing parts of the figures. No trail and no parking lot; about 1/4 mile east of the road.


Red Canyon Southwest RA, CA
9/4/2026 Red Canyon Southwest RA, CA - There are many large rock piles around here. I’ve hiked from one rock pile to another, hoping to find the RA. I found some RAs but not many.

Haystack, Lone Pine, CA

9/6/2026 Haystack, Lone Pine, CA - It’s rocky mountain, ton’s of rocks, I was hoping to find the RA, but no luck. There is no trail, but managed to hike around the Haystack.
