5/5/2026 TO Ranch Cave, NM - I drove all day and was supposed to see many petroglyphs, but I couldn’t find any because most of them are on private property. I was disappointed and resting by the side of the road. At that time, Mark stopped by and started to chat. He gave me the cave information and permission to hike one of the canyons in the property. For the next couple of hours, I was looking for a large cave to walk into. The best thing was some petroglyphs and pictographs on the wall of the cave, many of which are fading out. Also, I didn’t take photos, but many graffiti. Mark made an unhappy person converted to happy person, thank you, Mark.
