7/1/2026 Moon Lake Riding Mountain National Park, MB, Canada - It’s a good size lake, the lake water level is higher that caused the deck to submarged water, can’t reach it. Trees, bushes and vegetations are dense, not easy to walk other than trail. I found ticks from my body, Canadian tick size is 10 times larger than US tick size.

7/3/2026 Clear Lake, Riding Mt National Park, MB, Canada - It is a good size lake, can see other side of the lake. The boat ramp is closed. The lake water level is higher side. Dark cloud covers enter lake, maybe getting rain later.

7/3/2026 Elk Stature, Onanole, MB, Canada - Onanole is a Highway #10 road side town, there is a large size elk stature standing the road side, no-one can miss it. I stopped by to get a gas and Elk stature is near by.
 
Riverbank Discovery Center, Brandon, MB, Canada
7/4/2026 Riverbank Discovery Center, Brandon, MB, Canada - There are a few trails in this park, people are their own pace to enjoy walking on the trail. The market was open today, a several venders have decorated their boots. There are many more in this park, such as concert statium, children’s playground, exercise area, river view area and marsh view areas.

7/5/2026 Manitoba Lake, MB, Canada - A group of pericans enjoy sunny day in the Manitoba Lake. That’s the only bird I saw in the leke at this moment. They gather as a group and move as a group. Size of perican is large in size, easy to detect.

7/7/2026 Upper Fort Gallery, Winnipeg, MB, Canada - Across from the VIS Train Station, Beautiful and well maintained garden and outdoor art gallery. One large metal art panel with carved variety of subjects is spectacular. Some of carved subjects are very similar to petroglyphs.
 
Train Ride Winnipeg-Churchill, MB, Canada
7/8/2026 Train Ride Winnipeg-Churchill, MB, Canada - Heavy rain storm a few days ago that affect the train ride to the Churchill from Winnipeg. For example one train before my train was a bus ride from Winnipeg to Thompson and train ride from Thompson to Churchill. Some segments of rail road was severe damaged and my train was alternative route, not regular route, to reach to the Churchill.

7/9/2026 Churchill, MB, Canada - Finally made it to Churchill, polar bear capital of the wold, I wanted to come here for least a few years. First thing I noticed that big bugs (1 inch size), called horse fly, they bits me very badly especially back of neck. Weather was nice and temperature was not cold at all. It is a small town separated three segments, one main area and two more separate areas, no public transportation, I stack with main area.

Prince of Wales Fort Tour, Churchill, MB, Canada
7/10/2024 Prince of Wales Fort Tour, Churchill, MB, Canada - A bus takes us to the harbor, then a small rubber boat to reach the fort. At the fort, welcome man greetings us, a tour guide lead to the fort tour, during all tour time, there is a bear wach man on ATV to checking us who carry a gun. Funny thing about this fort there are still 40 original cannons which never used. After the fort tour, boat driver took us to Hadson Bay to see grizzly bear or not, expectedly we didn't see it. After that he tooks us to the white whales watch, white whales are smaller size, about 15ft or less in lenght. If come to Churchill, join the trous, otherwise not much to do in town.

7/11/2026 Hudson Bay, Churchill, MB, Canada - There are modern versions of pictographs on small size of boulders near the Hudson Bay beach, drawn by a fine artist. I walk on the beach, but bugs are bothering me all the time, and I don’t know how to relax with those bugs.

7/11/2026 Churchill River, Churchill, MB, Canada - Walk to see what Churchill River area looks like. Unexpectedly many houses were like man-made not in good way. I felt not so comfortable, I didn’t spend time much there.
 
Thompson, MB, Canada
7/12/2026 Thompson, MB, Canada - Train stopped nearly 2 hours at Thompson station. So that use taxi to see what dontown of Thompson looks like. Downtown was very quiet and not much to see, also 31°C temperature not easy to walk around. Overall Thompson is not so interested but they have a Walmart.
 
Train Churchill-Winnipeg, MB, Canada
7/13/2026 Train Ride Churchill-Winnipeg, MB, Canada - Train was very crowded from Churchill to Thompson, but after Thomson to Winnipeg was not. Passing by many lakes and all lakes are beautiful. I heard that my train was last time to go to Winnipeg, after that bus from Winnipeg to Thompson then train to Churchill. Mean time they will repair the regular route of the railroad damage. The train arrived at Winnipeg 8.5 hours later than expected.
 
Lafleche Museum, SW, Canada
7/17/2026 Lafleche Museum, SW, Canada - Donated all items in this museum by locals, and organized by section after sections. 1997 about 10 miles north from this place had a flood photos, and all that area was under the water. All they could do was watch water to dry up. Many Canadian towns, they don’t have outage, all flat, water has no place to go. After the heavy rain, people just hope to dry up soon.
 
Sheridan County Fair, MT
7/18/2026 Sheridan County Fair, MT - Displayed old farmer equipments, no idea when or how to use those. Kids play with live babie animals, that was popular event here. Another popular items among the young kids were, inflated large ball, kids in it, to crash balls, jump inflated equipment, climb up the man-made wall. Also Animal contest, and food venders were main events.
 
Medicine Lake, MT
7/18/2026 Medicine Lake, MT - Very quiet place, suppose to one large lake there, but all I could see was many small lakes, perfaps from drone view, the lake is large one lake. Outside the water is everywhere very green. The watch tower is open for publick to climb up, but I was chicken out.
 
Fort Peck Lake, MT
7/19/2026 Fort Peck Lake, MT - Northern MT at 5:15 pm temperature was 91 °F. Hot all day and over 90°F, where I was expected upper 70 °F in MT. I don’t know where to go to cool down in the USA if MT is this much hot. The Fort Peck Lake is large in size, and water is light blue color. If temperature is little more down, this place is a nice place to be.
 
Nelson Reservoir, MT
7/21/2026 Nelson Reservoir, MT - This Nelson Reservoir is large in size and expecting to see many human water activities, unfortunately today was cloudy and I didn’t see any. However many birds enjoy water activities. The RVs were parked many places for place folder, even no-one in RVs. Leave RV and owners are come to enjoy whenever they want, like a in private property. I don’t know why they do in public propery.
 
Pioneer Museum, Glasgow, MT
7/22/2026 Pioneer Museum, Glasgow, MT - They display petroglyphs boulder outside the front entrance door, that was relocated from the Fort Peck Lake area. In the museum, there are tons of items displayed for all subjects. The overwhelming display was taxidermy, all kinds of animals and birds about 200 or more.
 
Fresno Reservoir, MT
7/23/2026 Fresno Reservoir, MT - It is a large reservoir, about 65 miles of shoreline, it sits on the Milky River, where Milky River is a major river in this area. It is a popular outdoor recreation area with fishing, boating and camping.
 
Liberty Museum, MT
7/24/2026 Liberty Museum, MT - This museum built on the donations. The locals donate tons of items, and donations are keep coming that a museum lady said. Seems to overflow items that stack up everywhere rather than display nicely. There are total 3 buildings, one is a old school with student figures.
 
Bear Den, MT
7/24/2026 Bear Den, MT - After endless farmer fields, the dirt road climb up the hill, and suddenly white rocks cluster showed up. I started to hike to see the petroglyphs are here or not, temperature were 94°F, sooner I can’t hike anymore because too hot. A local stopped by and told me there is no petroglyphs around here.
 
Whitlash, MT
7/25/2026 Whitlash, MT - Shortest road to Whitlash was closed due to a large hole. So that around the Mt Royal area to reach the town that a few times longer than expected. I came to port of Whitlash before to go through US - Canada border, I still remember that the Canadian border offices were very unfriendly and strip search of my car, they made uncomfortable and upset my feeling. I never go through this port again.
 
Lake Elwell, MT
7/25/2026 Lake Elwell, MT - At the dam, there is a large campground, today's campers are RV trailer with pickup truck, and there is no tent campers. Seems to tent camping is deminishing. Temperature was 102-104°F range this afternoon, most people were inside the RV trailers with airconditioner.
 
Wood Bottom, MT
7/26/2026 Wood Bottom, MT - Mountain range one side and Missouri River other side, beautiful area with many trees. Someone showed me a donut that pickup truck spin and spin a few times, and smogg, dirt dust, came out like a donut.
 
Decision Point, MT
7/27/2026 Decision Point, MT - The Lewis and Clark expedition, decided which way Missouri River or Marias River to go to the Great Fall, they choose the Missouri River, and they were right, they got Great Falls no problem. This place is the both rivers merged point.
 
Tower Rock, MT
7/27/2026 Tower Rock, MT - Highway I-15 road side and I saw nice looking rocks, stopped by, there is a small state park, they charge non-resident $8 and resident free. Not only state park, south side of the I-15 has many more nice looking rocks to enjoy. I asked a local, there are petroglyphs around here, but his answer was no.
 
Our Lady of the Rockies, Butte, MT
7/28/2026 Our Lady of the Rockies, Butte, MT - Old school bus, which is our tour bus, to climb up the bumpy dirt road. At the top of the mountain, the Lady of the Rockies faces west to look down on the town of Butte. 1979-1985 created, 90ft high monument, tour only to visit; there are a total of 4 metal gates to unlock and lock to go through the road. She is big and tall; inside her is memorial individual photos posted that passed a way people, view from her is spectacular.
 
Canyon Creek Chacoal Kilns, MT
7/29/2026 Canyon Creek Charcoal Kilns, MT - There are many charcoal kilns in the fenced area; some are partially down, and many still keep their original figure. In one kiln, there are logs inside to show how big charcoal logs are with metal wall protection. It is a quiet valley area; both sides are tree-covered mountain ranges. This place is a popular destination for motorcyclists; they keep coming.
 
Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, MT
7/30/2026 Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge -The Red Rock Lakes area is a wide and flat area, and lakes and fields are coordinate nicely, beautiful and quiet area. Rd #509 is dirt and long road, go through this area. I started at the west end and next 30 miles I didn’t see any one, when I got Red Rock Lakes area start to see some cars.
