Little Colorado River St Johns, Arizona
11/9/2024 Little Colorado River St Johns, AZ - Around here, including the Little Colorado River, I don’t know where is the public land or private land. I was lucky, I met a landowner and he let me hike in his land. Not much but I found some petroglyphs. Cold water is running in the Little Colorado Rive, only five steps to cross the river.

Zuni River West, AZ
11/10/2024 Zuni River West, AZ - There are more petroglyphs than I expected, most of are located on the higher side of the cliff walls. Not only large quantity of petroglyphs, also quality is very high, assume very good artists were here. However I didn’t see any ruins. The Zuni River is bone dry.

Jaramillo Creek, AZ
11/11/2024 Jaramillo Creek, AZ - Jaramillo Creek is branch out from the Zuni River. It is not large, but I found a couple very nice petroglyphs panels, one is covered with bushes. There are many nice rocks/boulders to carve the petroglyphs, but they didn’t I wonder why.

Jaramillo Creek II, AZ
11/22/2024 Jaramillo Creek II, AZ - I had a hard time reaching the Jaramillo Creek because surrounding by residentioan properties, and no-trespassing signs are everywhere. The strange thing is residential propeties have no power and no drinking water. They have water tank for buying water, and solar cell for getting power. Life is not cheap or easy but land is cheap here.
