10/1/2023 Madussa Site RA, Fish Springs, CA - There is no hiking trail, walked uneven rock surface for a short distance to reach the site. There are many rocks/boulders but I found only two boulders have petroglyphs, where petroglyphs are fading out. This site is one of many rock art sites around here.

10/4/2023 Spiral Shelters RA, Chalk Bluff Rd, CA - At front of one of the rock shelters, there are spiral figures on the smaller size boulder. When get more closer to the shelter, there are some more petroglyphs on the boulders.

10/4/2023 Miller Creek RA, CA - One large boulder, located at the bottom of the hill and roadside, there are many petroglyphs on it but fading out. There are remnent of chalk that someone traced the figures.

10/4/2023 Boundary Boulder RA, CA - There are rocks/boulders all over around here. One of the boulders has petroglyphs on it that fading out but still visible. I look around but only this boulder selected.

10/7/2023 Time Trail, Ridgecrest, CA - Around this trail, there are many rock/boulder piles, I was hoping to find the rock art panels, unfortunately I found only the graffiti not rock art. There are many side trails in this area, can spend days rather than hours.

10/7/2023 Steam Well RA, CA - This area is totally dry now include wells. Hike on the trail till ruin, hike up/down the hills, both west and east sides of creek, and found many rock art panels, some of are bold that I like.

10/8/2023 Willow Wash RA, Mojave National Preserve, CA - Seems to the Kelbaker road just opened that repair from the flood damage, no-one here and no-one drive through the road. Ihere are three separate rock art panels, each one has a few figures.

10/9/2023 Halloran Springs RA, CA - There is a nice petroglyphs boulder around here, which I saw it from the Internet. Hike around the Halloran Springs area, unfortunately I can’t find it, need waypoint for the next time. Stop by the Halloran Springs rock art site to enjoy the petroglyphs.

10/11/2023 Mary’s Bedroom RA, Mojave National Preserve, CA - A local couple told me that Mary who was wife of the local rancher, gave a birt in this place around 1920, since that called Mary’s Bedroom, or National Park called Marry’s Cave. It is not actually the cave, holizontial opening area of the rocks. There are red color pigment of the pictographs in her bedroom. Also I took petroglyphs photos near by.

10/12/2023 Lanfair Buttes RA, Mojave National Preserve, CA - Bottom Center of the Lanfair Buttes, there are large rock piles and petroglyphs are all over on the individual rocks/boulders. All petroglyphs are visible from the ground level, no need to climb up the hill. There is a deep dry well.

10/14/2023 Vontrigger Springs RA, Mojave National Preserve, CA - Hiked on the bottom of the dry wash to get to the springs. I found both petroglyphs and pictographs, but not many. Both petroglyphs and pictographs are bad condition, bearly recognizable.

10/16/2023 Goffs Shoolhouse, Goffs, CA - There are many items in the schoolhouse property. Stop by to take photos, somehow joined the group and no time to take photos, that will do some other time. Anyway, this group called the Defender Overland Adventures, they are very friendly people and extraordinally adventures. Everyone has top of the line 4x4 car and drive on more than ATV roads. I have hiked saw their tire marks where I never can drive, like one side is 3ft high on the winding road. Thank you Tom and all members, I had a nice dinner and drink, and a good time.

10/18/2023 Signal Hill, Mojave National Preserve, CA - Yesterday I took a wrong turn and ended up 6 mils loop hike. Today took a right way but 12 miles hike under the 93°F temperature that was not October temperature. I didn’t find the rock art but I saw the reminiscent of the mines,

10/20/2023 Museum of Northern Arizona, AZ - This museum is also a publisher to publish books. I was visiting to see their published books, unfortunately there is no library to see the their published books in the museum. I thought that strange, no collection of published books to show.

10/21/2023 Monument Valley, AZ - There are 30 tour companies exist in this area. I’ve joined 2.5 hrs tour that took me to the couple rock art panels, cost me $120. The tour stopped many places that only tour can go. There are gorgeous red rock formation view through out the park.

10/21/2023 Mexican Hat, UT - It was beautiful sunset scene, very strong red color all over the Mexican Hat rock area. At the morning someone fly over the Mexican Hat with para-grainder. I had a good time to witness those.

10/22/2023 Dancers Panel, Cedar Point, UT - This Dancers Panel was missing from my photo collection. Today hiked 6.6 miles to find it. There are many nice rock art panels in this area, stop by to those panels and took photos. The Dancers Panel is little far and no rock art there that previously thought area. Finally found it that totally satisfied.

10/24/2023 Kachina Bridge, Natural Bridges National Monument, UT - Deer Canyon was my destination to hike today. When after 3 miles hike, enter the Deer Canyon, soon the canyon was cul-de-sac, tall cliff walls all over, disappointed and turn back. However hike was nice, took many rock art panels photos near the Kachina Bridge.

10/26/2023 Hunting Panel, John’s Canyon, UT - Hunting panel was missing my photo collection of the Johnn’s Canyon rock art. I was eager to find it today. Road condition was similar to before, narrow, winding and not comfortable to drive on. I found the four side panels boulder that the indication of the Hunting Panel, which is near by. I found it soon after, glad to see it because I wanted to see it for while.

10/27/2023 Collins Canyon, Grand Gulch, UT - Collins Canyon is beautiful canyon and dry all the way to the Grand Gluch. I started hike afternoon, today was looking around the canyon without particular destination. However I found the Cowboy Camp site that under the large alcove and displyed some old memorabilia.

10/29/2023 Rim Ruin, Bullet Canyon, UT - It's also called the Square Tower Ruin. The ruin is located atop of the large boulder. I saw it from all angles, it is not attached to the rim, a means just like an island, view is very nice from it.

10/30/2023 Upper John’s Canyon Day1, Grand Gluch, UT - I started hike down the upper John’s Canyon, sooner there is a straight down dry falls that couple hundred feet down. I don't know how to go down, so that turn back to the rim, and started hike on the rim. It is gorgeous canyon, layer after layers with multiple colors.

10/31/2023 Upper John’s Canyon Day2, Grand Gluch, UT - I got an information from Doug, so that different way to approach the canyon today. Goal of my destination was 9 granaries, down the layers after layers of the canyon, after few layers down I was exhausted only energy left was to go back climb up the leyers, a means no energy left to visit 9 granaries, that leave to next time. Thank you Doug for the information.
