6/2/2022 Green River, Myton, UT - I’ve been hiking the river side of the Green River, and found some petroglyphs, some petroglyphs are old and some of are not. Water in the Green River is maximum capacity, which means weeds and bushes are growing like a crazy, bushwhacking is not easy.

6/3/2022 Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation Memorial Monument, UT - Highway 40 road side attraction, It is beautifully constructed memorial monument that opens for the public. Unique designed building, assume its a museum, is closed for while.

6/4/2022 Horseshoe Bend, Vernal, UT - There is a road to go to the atop of the horseshoe bend peninsula. I wanted to see the horseshoe bend from the out side, but this horseshoe bend is so large, impossible to fit into one photo unless use drone.

6/5/2022 Brush Creek Dam Rock Art, Vernon, UT - Today was another lucky day. Property owner came out his property and I was just passing by, I’ve asked about rock art site, and he got an ATV and a pair of the waders (long water shoes) for me, then took me to the near rock art site, need to cross the creek below the dam that little more than knee high water. There are many petroglyphs there, my picture is wearing waders.

6/5/2022 Steinaker Reservoir, Vernal, UT - I saw only 3 fishing boats in the reservoir, only few people and large size lake. Unfortunately there is a shooting range near by, never stop sound of shooting.

6/7/2022 Brush Creek West Rock Art, Vernal, UT - I’ve stop by to ask rock art at back of his house, but there is no rock art, instead of he pointed out other side, west. It was short distance to hike, there are a nice petroglyphs panel.

6/7/2022 Rainbow Park Rock Art, Dinosaur National Monument, UT - Where warm color cliff standing is my last area to explore for the rock art for this area. As my expectation, I found couple area of the rock art panels. These are incising petroglyphs with very thin lines, and most of are already faded out. It is beautiful area to explore.

6/7/2022 McKee Spring Rock Art, Dinosaur National Monument, UT - When passing the rock art area, stop by to say 'Hi' to old friends. This area petroglyphs are very large in size and carved deeply, a means won’t fade out any time soon.

6/7/2022 Brush Creek East Rock Art, Vernal, UT - It is in the private property, the owner was nice to let me hike in his property. To see the petroglyphs panel, need canyon hike to get there, scramble up the boulder, and canyon is getting narrower. The panel is a busy panel, which I like it, and very clear expression, this panel made my day!

6/8/2022 Manila Rock Art, UT - It is located in the private property. Rock art panels are located higher side of the cliff walls. I took photos from the road, because too steep to climb up the hill. If I’ll have a chance at next time, I’ll hike up around to go to other side and reach the top of the mesa to look down the petroglyphs.

6/11/2022 Tolar Site, Point of Rocks, WY - Finally I found the site, I was working for while. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Place, which means exact location is a secret. There is one car parking lot, but Sage bushes are growing very tall and easy to miss it. It is located not far from the highway I-80.

6/12/2022 White Mountain Petroglyphs, Rock Springs, WY - Light moss green color rock walls where petroglyphs are located. Variety of size of petroglyphs, some of are very large and some of are tiny, all others are between. There are a few busy panels, which I like.

6/14/2022 Red Canyon, near Lander, WY - It is very bright red color canyon, it is beautiful, however all properties around here are privately owned. There is no public access hiking trails to enjoy the canyon, that a sad.

6/15/2022 Fremont County Pioneer Museum, Lander, WY - There are many buildings in this area and museum is the largest building. There is the Pioneer Village that many buildings in it, some old buildings were moved to this location from the original place.

6/16/2022 Dry Twin Creek Rock Art, southeast of Lander, WY - The creek has a good water running, vegetation and bushes are growing like a crazy by the creek, which means not easy to bushwhacking. Rock art panels are bottom of the cliff walls and highere side of the hill. There are many rock arts but faded out that do not come out nicely on the photos.

6/16/2022 Beaver Creek Rock Art, Southeast of Lander, WY - Three separate rock art panels on the private property road. The owner of the property gave me a tour for those three rock art panels and teepee rings. Beautiful red rock canyon area. Stagecoach use to stop in his property. There are two plus teepee rings at nice view area. Owner has 450 cows but I saw nothing, cows are some place atop of the mountain.

6/17/2022 Red Rock Hike, southeast of Lander, WY - It was bushwhacking hike and harder than I thought. Someone told me, there is a large horse petroglyphs in that area, but I couldn’t find it that made more tired for total 10 miles hike. It is beautiful place and nice cliff walls for rock art, I wonder why I couldn’t find it.

6/18/2022 Bonneville Panel, northeast of Shoshoni, WY - There are 4 figures just like 'SpongeBob', cartoon characters, large face/body and arms and legs sticking up. This area has many rocks/boulders but too hot to hike over 90 degree weather.

6/19/2022 County Road 82, WY - This road runs from Lysite to Ten Sleep, I drove from Lysite. It was nothing special till half the way, there are large mountain made of rocks that standing front of me, I was wondering how to go through it, there is narrow room for only road and creek between two mountains. It was spectacler to go through it, then beautiful red rock range for miles.

6/21/2022 Cottonwood Creek Road, near Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site, WY - Road side attraction but no parking lot, park the car on the road to see it. It is a small rock art panel, easy to miss it. I believe there are many more rock arts around here, land owned by private owners and owners are living someplace else, not easy to get a permit.

6/23/2022 Meeteetse, WY - Snow top of the mountains view from just out side of the town of Meeteetse. Absaroka Mountain Range in the Shoshone National Forest, which many mountain peaks are located that not too far from the Meeteetse and still snow covered the top.

6/24/2022 Gooseberry Creek, WY - It is archaeologists preferred to call it '48HO9'. It is located in the private property. There is not much rock arts here, one panel has couple figures, such as horse and holizontal lines. I’ve hiked around but only this panel exist.

6/26/2022 Fort Phil Kearny State Histric Site, northwest of Buffalo, WY - This fort exist only 2 years, 1866-1868, to protect travelers on the Bozeman Train from the Sioux Cheyenne Indian. Fort was closed because the Sioux Cheyenne Indians were so strong, and Union Pacific Railroad had reached to this area and bypass the Bozeman Trail.

6/26/2022 Fetterman Monument, WY - On December 21, 1866, Captain Fetterman was commanded 81 members that were order to rescuer a besieged wagon train, this rescuer team was most strongest members at all. However they were killed within 30 minutes by about 2,000 Sioux Cheyenne Indians.

6/26/2022 Crazy Woman Battlefield Historical Maker, south of Buffalo, WY - Crazy Woman is sort of popular in Wyoming and South Dakota. There are Crazy Woman Canyon, Crazy Woman Creek, Crazy Woman Diner and many more. Definition of the Crazy Woman is 'someone who can’t accept the truth of a situation.' Which means it apply to all women at time-to-time.

6/28/2022 Old Town, Upton, WY - Highway 16 road side attraction. They are collecting old cabins and wagons to display all in one place rather than destroy it, still on the development stage, but progress is visible.

6/28/2022 Devil’s Tower National Monument, WY - Saw the Devil’s tower from the Highway 24. Seems to small from far distance, but actually it is a lager tower. I’ve been to bottom of the Devil’s Tower before, so that today was just passing.

6/29/2022 Large Deer Panel, North Cave Hill, SD - I beleve this is the largest rock art panel in the North Cave Hill area. It is busy panel, many figures, unfortunately there are many graffiti too. Seems to many artists added figures in different period of time.
