10/3/2021 Tolar, WY - I’ve hiked that I’m guessing very close to the Tolar RA site, unfortunately not close enough and I couldn’t find it. Oh well...treasure hunting will continue.

10/4/2021 Pine Canyon RA, WY - I found three RA sites, two are closed but another one is distanced. When started hiking, I found RA right a way, I though I’ll find tons of RAs today, but I was wrong, nothing after that until found last site. It is a nice area, many cliffs but not many, a means tons of, RAs.

10/9/2021 Vermillion Falls, WY - Last night was rain all night that the why falls water run nicely. It is beautiful water falls around 25ft height and HW #318 roadside attraction. However main parking lot has been closed and parked a small side of the road open area.

10/10/2021 Bromine Charcoal Kilns, CO - 4 large size coke ovens, those are very good condition, seems to still can use it. Mine company was long gone but kept coke ovens, which is National Register of Historic Place.

10/11/2021 White River Museum, Meeker, CO - In the museum, there are tons of staff that mostly donated by locals. On the corner, there are petroglyphs panels which are replica, but museum guy doesn’t know where originals are located. It was free of charge for the admission.

10/11/2021 Meeker, CO - Meeker is small mountain town with history. One of the history is the massacred in 1879 killed Meeker and his staff by poor treatment of the Utes. Today was sheep moving day, street was full of sheep and their droppings.

10/15/2021 Palisade Rim Trail RA, CO - This trail is a popular trail, however no one parked at the TH parking lot, everyone parked at the side of the road, there is enough room to park. It is a beautiful area to hike. There are many deer figured petroglyphs on this trail.

10/16/2021 East Creek RA, CO - The HW #141 road carven area that RAs are located, lower side is the by the highway, day use parking area, and upper side that hiked from the TH. All RAs are faded out, do not come nicely on the photos.

10/16/2021 White Rocks RA, CO - One area of white rock cluster, which is contrast to surroundings of red rocks, there are RAs. I found two areas of RA panels. This area is a fun place because we can walk in/around white rocks/boulders.

10/17/2021 McDonald Creek RA, CO - I thought there are two separate pictographs sites in this creek, turn out to be that’s not the case, there are four sites, two pictographs sites and two petroglyphs sites, pictographs and petroglyphs are opposite side of the creek. Oh well, finding petroglyphs are next time. It is beautiful area especially getting close to the confluence of the Colorado River.

10/18/2021 East Canyon RA, UT - This location is UT side of the UT-CO border. There are many nice rocks/boulders/canyon walls in this canyon. It is red color pictographs with some scratches on it, I don’t know why. It is middle of the cliff wall, how to get there is beyond my imagination.

10/18/2021 Three Canyons RA, UT - Three canyons, Hay, Middle and East, meet in this area. This place is very interesting because there are several different styles of RA in this area, which telling that groups of people came here at different times, must be a popular place.

10/20/2021 Rough Canyon RA, CO - There are many trails around here, mainly for the dirt bike, ATV and hike, which called Bangs Area. RA panel is south faced cliff wall and many graffiti on it, sad thing to see it. It is not too far from the TH.

10/23/2021 Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area, CO - In this area, ATVs and dirt bikes can go all over, there are many trails for them. Also fishing is popular activity at Gunnison Gorge, which this river cut off the area and both side of river walls are getting taller. Not too far from the town of Delta.

10/25/2021 Ghost Panel, Bluff, UT - There are two panels, about 100ft apart. It is east side of HW #162. Near this panel, there are fences to protect special plants that only grow in this area, however a fence by the main RA panel, all dried up and plants are gone.

10/26/2021 Comb Ridge Area, Bluff, UT - Weather was not good all day today. Between rain clouds, I’ve hiked beautiful cliff walls area that east side of the road, where Comb Ridge is west.

10/27/2021 Comb Ridge, Bluff, UT - Hiked on Comb Ridge, which I wanted for while, actually I want to hike everywhere Comb Ridge that I want to do some day. There are many canyons that not visible from the road. I saw two no name ruins and many alcoves, nice day to hike today.

10/28/2021 Hopi Cultural Center, Second Mesa, AZ - Front entrance of this cultural center, there are couple impressive RA rocks displayed. One is taller than others and both several figures on it. I was not expected to see RA there, it was nice surprised to me. I saw many stray dogs, I wonder why so many.

10/30/2021 Flat Top, PFNP, AZ - I was planning to hike around the place that some one was camping, changed plan to not bother. There are many suitable rocks/boulders but no RA found today. Nice and relatively easy to hike area.

10/31/2021 Dead Wash Overlook, PFNP, AZ - Added some more distance to the previous ranger leaded tour hike, and found couple more small RA panels. This is not a popular place because I don’t see human foot prints. It was a good hike to re-visited many RA sites.
