10/7/2020 Soda Dam, Jamez Springs, NM - Calcium Carbonated in the water that built the natural dam, which blocked the Jamez River. Hydrognen Sulfide gas escaped from the water that smell rotten eggs. Other than bad smell, this place is interesting to visit.

10/7/2020 Coyote Call Trail, Jamez National Recreation Area, NM - Tree leaves are just in time for the gorgeous golden color. I have to stop to enjoy the season of the fall. Highway #4 road side that the Coyote Call Trail is located.

10/8/2020 Fuller Lodge, Los Alamos, NM - This place is a combination of the lodge, history museum and art center. Lodge used 771 massive pine logs that very impressive especially inside. Lodge was originally the ranch school for boys.

10/8/2020 Brandbury Science Museum, Los Alamos, NM - The museum was closed by COVID-19 pandemic. A photographer was taking bunch of photos of the man at front of the museum. I guess he is a famous person, but I don’t know him. Anyway they allowed me to take his photo, do you know him?

10/8/2020 Los Alamos, NM - During WWII, this town was the center of the brain that brought victory to US. Otherhand Japan lost because neglected the power of the Physics and Chemistry. As a physicist and chemist, also mathematician and computer programmer, I wanted to visit this town for while.

10/9/2020 Red Dot Trail RA, White Rock, NM - This is my first time to complete the Red Dot Trail. It was very strenuous hike down to reach the Rio Grande because steepness and rocks on the trail. Upper half was done before, so that concentrated to find RA at the bottom half, and found some.

10/10/2020 Rio Pueblo CG RA, Rio Grande del Norte NM, NM - This CG is located the intersection of the Rio Pueblo and Rio Grande, surrounding by mountains and tall cliff walls. Petroglyphs are located here and there. To finding it was like a treasure hunting, fun thing to do.

10/10/2020 Rio Pueblo CG Ruin, Rio Grande del Norte NM, NM - I heard there was a mine here, but not sure. Stone structures are seems to force to destroyed, chimneys are down and inside the chimney were not much used. There are least three building foundations are here.

10/11/2020 Vista Verde Trail RA, Rio Grande del Norte NM, NM - Try to find RA that I didn’t see it before, but it was not easy because I don’t know the exact location. Fortunately I found some.

10/13/2020 Hidden Spring RA, Dinetah, NM - Spring is not visible from outside and located at the middle of the cliff. Dripping water makes the tiny pond that hidden behind of the boulders. On these boulders, there are white hand pictographs.

10/14/2020 Blue Men Panel, Dinetah, NM - All petroglyphs are blue color in it, but some of the blue color is fading out especially three small guys holding hands. This panel is located under the large individual boulder, which fell off from the higher up cliff.

10/15/2020 Carrizo Canyon East RA, Dinetah, NM - Short segment of the Carrizo Canyon east side. I found some petroglyphs. Highlight of the day was the golden color of the cottonwood trees, it was gorgeous color.

10/17/2019 Carrizo Crane Panel Dinetah, NM - This panel is south faced and located east side of the Carrizo Canyon. The size of cranes are very large to tiny, there are many cranes on the panel.

10/17/2020 Rincon Largo North RA, Dinetah, NM - It’s located about thirty feet higher than bottom of the Carrizo Canyon bed and about 500ft north from the Rincon Largo site. Couple panels, each panel has several figures on it.

10/17/2020 Rincon Largo RA, Dinetah, NM - There are two areas, one area is high up the canyon cliff wall, no way to reach it. Another area is ground level but higher size of the middle of the cliff, hike up to see close up view, and not easy to see it because corner area.

10/18/2020 Cutter Reservoir, Dinetah, NM - It is quiet and beautiful reservoir. There is no sand beach and surrounding by pink and ivory color cliffs. It is drinking water for the Navajo Indian community. Need a permit for fishing. Campground/picnic area is free of charge, which is below the dam.

10/20/2020 Paiute Cave RA, north of Grand Canyon NP, AZ - It is also called Hat Knoll Cave, where the same name of the mountain near by. Rocks are every where entrance way and inside the cave. I wanted to visit this cave for while, satisfied!

10/21/2020 Nampaweap RA, Grand Canyon-Parashant NM, AZ - Last time I was here, my camera was ready to die and didn’t go through. Since that I wanted to visit this place again. I found 5 nice cluster of petroglyphs areas, feel like I finally made it.

10/23/2020 Water Glyphs, Bitter Sweep Wash, AZ - Also some one call it 'Cup and Channel Glyph'. I found 2 Water Glyphs today, but there are some more that I leaned. Water Glyphs are made by gridding the rocks, and suppose to pointing out the water source.

10/23/2020 Banting Ranch RA, Johnson Canyon, UT - It is in the private property but close to the road, so that I took photos from the road. There are many damaged by graffiti, very sad to see it.

10/23/2020 Flag Point Dinosaur Print, Grand Staircase Escalante NM, UT - Jim gave me a ride with windowless his ATV to the Flag Point, then hike down about 100 ft to see the large dinosaur foot prints. There are suppose to RA, unfortunately I didn’t find it, that for next time. Thank you Jim for the ride.

10/24/2020 Edmaiers Secret, Backskin Gulch, UT - It is beautiful area, also called 'Brown Pocket'. There are many different colors of rocks but brown and red colors are dominated in this area. The Edmaires Secret area is little off from the main trail, but many distinguished rock formations there.

10/24/2020 Buckskin Gulch RA, UT - Located at the middle of the tall canyon cliff wall and easy to miss it, if hike at the bottom of the canyon, which is the main trail, it is not visible, hike up sandy 10 ft up trail to see it. There are two separate panels, very short distance, each panel has few figures.

10/24/2020 Sheep Panel, Buckskin Gulch RA, UT - The panel is on the red rock cliff wall, it’s not easy to see it, I almost miss it. I was wondering why trail is here, follow the short trail, then saw the petroglyphs. All rectangular sheep figures, pictures do not show nicely because very thin carving.

10/25/2020 Box Canyon Pueblo, Wupatki NM, AZ - The two ruins separated by the dry creek, that’s standing the edge of the cliff, cliff is not too tall. It is not open to public to go inside the ruins.

10/25/2020 Lomaki Pueblo, Wupatki NM, AZ - Little father to get this ruin, but same area to the Box Canyon Pueblo. This pueblo is little larger than the Box Canyon Pueblo, and it is open to the public to walk in to see the inside.

10/25/2020 Nalakihu Pueblo, Wukatki NM, AZ - This pueblo is standing on the ground at bottom of the Citadel Pueblo, which standing atop of the hill, and has a few rooms. We can walk in some rooms.

10/25/2020 Citadel Pueblo, Wukatki NM, AZ - This pueblo is standing on the atop of the hill, nice 360 degree view. When I got atop, wind was so strong, I almost fly away, I only can do was hold tightly to the pole, but young couple rescued me to safely came down, thank you for help me out, whoever helped me.

10/27/2020 Wupatki Pueblo, Wupatki NM, AZ - It is a large and beautiful pueblo, use to live many people here. Used existing boulders as the parts of the pueblo very nicely. There are two large ceremonial or gathering ballcourts. Unfortunately not open for public to get into inside.

10/27/2020 Wukoki Pueblo, Wukatki NM, AZ - This pueblo is standing on the top of the flat top boulder in the canyon. Arrange very nicely or archaeological marvelous with existing boulders. The pueblo is just like tower and has own charm.

10/27/2020 Wupatki National Monument RA, AZ - There are RA sites in this National Monument, all ranger guided tours to see it, but all tours have been cancelled because COVID-19 pandemic, and no plan to re-start tour again. They allowed me to take photos of their RA photos.

10/27/2020 Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, AZ - There are everywhere black lava fields in this park. Lichens are growing on the many lavas, and some trees and bushes are growing in the fields. But still showing remind of the eruption that occurred millions years ago.

10/28/2020 Flagstaff Public Art, AZ - There are many different kind arts spreading all over the town. I have selected to see the murals. There are many murals exist in the town, but I have concentrated only downtown area. I took my picture at front of the one of the largest murals, looks like I was too tiny.

10/28/2020 Keyhole Sink RA, AZ - It is seasonal waterfalls, nice waterfalls photo from hiking brochure, currently it is totally dry. Petroglyphs are located on the rock walls that surrounding the dry pond. It is nice place like a hiding oasis.

10/29/2020 Laws Spring RA, AZ - Use to spring water is available all year around that has been changed, currently it is totally dry. I saw birds wanted to drink water, I gave some of my drinking water, but they have to find another water source to survive. Petroglyphs are located on the pond rock wall and higher side of the cliff walls.

10/30/2020 Picture Canyon, Flagstaff, AZ - I found 5 RA sites in this area. There is a trail between the Don Weaver Trail and Creek for the RA finders, the trail is not easy but doable. Also fenced out RA sites in this park.

10/31/2020 Elden Pueblo, Flagstaff, AZ - This pueblo is located in the residential area by the highway 98. There are many small rooms, some rooms are no entrance, estimated 200 people use to live here.

10/31/2020 Chevelon Creek RA, near Winslow, AZ - I found petroglyphs panels from other side of the creek. Other side is wire fenced out, I can’t go. Use to many more petroglyphs, but faded out.
