7/1/2019 High Falls, Pigeon River, Grand Portage State Park, MN - This 120 ft waterfalls is one mile on the paved trail or wooden pathway to get there. Other side of the falls is Canada, which has another view area. It is beautiful and strong sound of waterfalls. All view area are very nicely done wooden walkway.

7/1/2019 Marina Park, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada - This is the first stop in Canada for this Summer Trip. It is also called the Prince Arthur’s Landing Marina Park. It is a large area that include the Spirit Garden, Pier 1, 2 and 3. Today is a Canada Day and many people preparing for tonight’s celebration.

7/1/2019 Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park, ON, Canada - 131 ft falls that called "Niagara of the North". It is spectacular falls with loud noise. This is the biggest waterfalls for my summer trip so far. There are many people enjoy the falls view.

7/2/2019 Red Rock Rock Art, ON, Canada - There are pictographs, not many, only boat to get closer, I took photo from the display in the Interpreter Center. Another rock art that seems to few people riding a boat that appears in large size across the lake which is the illusion, not actual one, but amazing to see it.

7/3/2019 Rainbow Falls, Hewitson River, ON, Canada - It is in the Rainbow Falls Provincial Park, which charges for the entrance fee. It is not rainbow color nor rainbow shape, it is cascade waterfalls, one after another ones. All falls are small to medium size. There is a boardwalk to see all falls. There are tons of mosquitoes, without it, it is a nice place.

7/3/2019 Aguasabon Falls, Aguasabon River Gorge, ON, Canada - This is a not in the Provincial Park, a means free of charge to see it. There is a boardwalkway without stairs, I thought that a nice because wheelchair person can come, if they want to. Nice a gorge view, however only side view to see the tall waterfalls.

7/3/2019 High Falls, Wawa, ON, Canada - This is a bonus waterfalls to me, I didn’t know this place does exist, found by the roadside sign. It is beautiful waterfalls, a good thing is that we can see the falls front of the view area, a means can view entire wide falls with short walk.

7/4/2019 Agawa Rock, Lake Superior Provincial Park, ON, Canada - The pictographs panel is located on the cliff wall. It is not easy to standing by the wall to take photos because not enough space between wall and lake water, and rock floor is easy to slide down into the deep cold lake water if not careful. Panel is southwest face, a means faded out badly.

7/4/2019 Pinguisibi, Sand River, Lake Superior Provincial Park, ON, Canada - They called rapids, where I called waterfalls. There are many cascade small waterfalls along the Sand River. I learned later that I missed very nice waterfalls, where I didn’t hike much, if I knew it I have hiked little more to see it.

7/7/2018 Liberator Crash Site, Saint-Donat, QC, Canada - 5.1km one way hike from the TH to get the Liberator air place crash site, the trail is well maintained except last 1/2 mile or so was rough trail. At the crash site, plane was many small pieces and all those are still there, they didn’t removed it. Only one thing I was not expected that victims grave yard or memory site that built higher side of the crash site, look down the crash site from it.

7/7/2019 Lezard Lake, Saint-Donat, QC, Canada - When got into Canada, there are so many lakes, ponds and wetlands all over, too many to stop by to take photos, so I quit stopping those places. However this lake was way to get to the Liberator Crash Site, so that stop by to take photos.

7/8/2019 Montreal Boutanical Garden, QC, Canada - This boutanical garden currently has 20 thematic gardens and 22,000 plants, also they have Japanese and Chinese, First Nation gardens. There are many art works other than plants and trees, I really enjoied spent time there.

7/9/2019 Montmorency Falls, Quebec, Canada - Highway #40 roadside waterfalls. This falls drop down 83m with massive water runs. Parking is not free, cost $12.50, if you would like to ride cable-car or zip-line that extra cost. It is beautiful waterfalls.

7/9/2019 Ha! Ha! Lake Covered Bridge, Butteau, QC, Canada - This wooden covered bridge is located near the highway #381 and by the man-made dam of the Ha! Ha! Lake. I thought funny name, the name include "!", "Ha! Ha!". The bridge use to car to drive thru but its blocked now.

7/9/2019 Louis-Gravel Covered Bridge, Saguenay River, QC, Canada - This is nice red color outside covered bridge on the Saguenay River. Currently construction is going on, but bridge is passable by the car. This is nice looking covered bridge.

7/10/2019 Baie-Comeau, QC, Canada - Pronounce this town like "Bee Como". It is seaside town and population is 23,000. It was two different towns combine to became one town about 40 years ago. The Pioneer Park, Parc des Pionniers, if allowed to camp for an overnight for free of charge. There are some art works in this park, nice place to walk around.

7/11/2019 Manic-5, Highway #389, QC, Canada - This is the 5th dam from the town on the Manic River, and the largest dam of this kind in the world. There is a free 2hr tour and wait one hour is not worth to me, so that skip, but available.

7/11/2019 Manicouagan Crater, Relais Gabriel, QC, Canada - This is a huge creater, only I can see is river that circulated the creater, even river is large in size like a ocean. I guess from the sky, this is a spectacle view, but from the ground there is no way to see the entire view.

7/14/2019 Red Bay, Labrador, Canada - This place is a national historical site, I try to find out details but I was too early when I got there, nothing open there, I will find out the detail from the Internet some day if I remember.

7/14/2019 Pinware River Provincial Park, Labrador, Canada - This place is a just like peninsula, and the park has two beaches that open for the public. Also has campground and camp sites are by the seaside, nice to camp by the seaside.

7/14/2019 Iceberg, Blanc-Sablon, QC, Canada - It is located QC side of border of QC and Labrador. 57°F outside but iceberg is looks nice. The iceberg is a good size and I enjoyed to seeing it.

7/14/2019 Ferry from Blanc-Sablon to St. Barbe, NL, Canada. The ferry from Quebec that very close to Labrador about 1 1/2 hrs to reach the Newfoundland. It was very smooth ride and ferry wasy relatively new and large in size.

7/15/2019 L'Anse aux Meadows National Historical Site, NL, Canada - There are all kind vegetation and trees but they don’t grow taller because weather, that the why all around here is meadow. This is the northernmost place me to visit in the island of Newfoundland in this trip.

7/15/2019 Arches Provincial Park, NL, Canada - Arches are half inside the sea water when I was there. There are four large size arches in one area. The view thru from the arches are the Gulf of St Lawrence.

7/16/2019 Tablelands, Gros Morne National Park, NL, Canada - One of the few places where Earth’s mantle is revealed, and this place is the most easy to access to it. Whole mountain is orange color by oxidation of mantle where surrounding areas are all green. Mantle contained all kind metals that toxic to plants to not grow. There are free tour available, and tour separated English and French speaking, English speaking tour is about 4 to 5 times more people. It was foggy condition when I was there.

7/17/2019 Skerwink Trail, Trinity East, NL, Canada - This trail is one of the top 10 hiking trails in the World, when I learned it, I have to hike on this trail, and I did. It was foggy when I was hiking, so that visibility was not great but enjoy the hiking. It was interesting trail, up/down and boardwalk, nice view of the seaside.

7/19/2018 Signal Hill, St. John’s, NL, Canada - This place is a like small castle and just outside of town of St. John’s, located atop of the hill, nice view from here. St. John’s town road system is very confusing and difficult to drive by narrow road, park side of the road and busy traffic.

7/20/2019 Rigatta Race, Placentia, NL, Canada - This is a major event for this town, a means town’s holiday by this race. 6 members + 1 couch team of boat race. Nearlest player by couch is the leader, every member of players follow the leader, couch does pull 2 lopes and control the direction of the boat.

7/20/2019 Ferry Argentia, NL - North Sydney, NS, Canada - This is a 18 hrs ferry ride, ferry moves about 20 miles/hr speed. The ferry is large in size, 600ft long. There are many cabins but all sold out. In the ferry, it has 10 stories and many rooms. This ferry runs three times per week.

7/21/2019 Ferry Caribou, NS - Wood Island, PEI, Canada - This is only 1 1/2 hr ferry to get to Prince Edward Island. To get into the PEI, there is no cost, however when get out, they charge, so that this ferry is no cost to me, but when get out PEI, I have to pay at the bridge. Ferry run 9 times/day in summer.

7/22/2019 Green Gables Heritage Place, PEI, Canada - Fiction of Anne of Green Gables book was born in this place background. The house is relative of author Lucy Montgomery, which was a farmer house. The book was translated 30 different languages. Visitors in this place is 250,000 at last year.

7/22/2019 Garden of Hope, PEI, Canada - The garden runs by donation, however the butterfly house charges $10. There are many butterfly in the small house. This garden is relatively smaller but nice for locals to enjoy walk around.

7/22/2019 Thunder Cove Beach, PEI, Canada - This is a popular red sand beach, sea water is cool side but some ones are swimming, most people are enjoy the sun and relax. There is no parking lot, park side of the road.

7/22/2019 Bottle House, PEI, Canada - Three houses made by bottles, used 30,000 bottles and spent 4 years to built. These are show houses, not actually some one living/lived. Very nicely done.

7/23/2019 La Dune de Bouctouche, NB, Canada - The penensula is about 7 miles long and boardwalk is about 0.7 mile long, after end boarwalk, walk on the sand beach all the way to the lighthouse. It is very please to walk on this boardwalk, one side is sea and one side is protected vegitation area.

7/23/2019 Hay Island, Neguac, NB, Canada - This tiny island is connected with mainland by the bridge. In this island, there is saltwater marshes with boardwalk loop and a lighthouse. It is very nice and relaxing area.

7/24/2019 Miscou Island Lighthouse, NB, Canada - Located northeast end of New Brunswick and Island of Miscou. It is the largest lighthouse around here. Suppose to can get inside the lighthouse and climb up to the top, but I was there too early and door was closed.

7/24/2019 Miscou Island, NB, Canada - This Interpretive Peat Bog Boardwalk is surrounding by many small ponds and wetlands. It is not long but nice place to walk around on the boardwalk. There is many vegitations in this area.

7/24/2019 Sippagon Harbor, NB, Canada - The boats were very nicely color coordinated, I have to stop to take photos. The part of bridge is up/down by boat crossing, a mean road traffic stop to wait a boat to pass under the bridge.

7/24/2019 Sentier Rivage, Shippagon, NB, Canada - This boardwalk is very long, located by the seashoer, one side is sea and other side is private properties. One end of the trail is marina and lighthouse. There are many attraction near the lighthouse, like aqualium or museum.

7/25/2019 Rocher-Perce, Perce, QC, Canada - This is the famous rock formation around here. From a view point, its large in size and nice view of thse standing rocks in the sea. Special characteristic is the hole/arch is the large enough to small boat to go through. When drive highway #132 little longer can see the other side of the rocks.

7/25/2019 Gaspesie Peninsular, QC, Canada - This peninsular is the north side of New Brunswick. Drive highway #132 all the way, up/down the hills many times, some of are steep, some of are long, and some of are both steep and long. South and East sides are more attracted with visitors, North and West sides are residential areas.

7/28/2019 Canada Road Side Attraction, Eastern Canada - I have visited eastern Canada on 7/1-7/28, during my visit, I have stopped by many places and captured those photos. I was excited to visit many nice places every day, but time flys too fast.
