2/1/2019 Tombstone Butte, northwest of Moab, UT - All around here is red rock color. It is large and straight walls when getting closer to see. Its very impressive look, but no sign of RA.

2/1/2019 Secret Spire, northwest of Moab, UT - It is not visible until getting very close to it that the why called Secret Spire. Only one spire standing atop of the rounding surface of boulder that odd. It is located between top mesa and bottom of the canyon.

2/1/2019 Secret Arch (Kay Named), northwest of Moab, UT - This arch is located not far from the Secret Spire and spotted from the main road. It is smaller in size and not popular like Secret Spire.

2/2/2019 Scott M Matheson Wetland Preserve, Moab, UT - North side of Moab that this place is located. Sign said 895 acres and 225 species of birds, but I saw no birds, a means hard to believe birds are here. Because winter is not a good time to visit this place, I guess.

2/2/2019 Kings Bottom RA, Moab, UT - Not many but I found some petroglyphs in this area. Just hike around here is worth to spend time, because small area and beautiful view. The area is between close look of the fin of large rocks (mountains to me) and other side of Colorado river cliff walls.

2/7/2019 Pritchett Canyon Panel, Moab, UT - It is a small panel that located north side of over the creek off the Pritchett Canyon Road. On the panel, some of are missing by crack the top layer of the rock wall, some of are faded out, but can see some petroglyphs.

2/7/2019 Pritchett Canyon Ruin, Moab, UT - It is located in the small side canyon that little off from the Pritchett Canyon, but close enough. It is pile of rocks, I don’t know its called ruin or not, seems to started gathering the rocks to built the ruin and quit before complete it.

2/7/2019 22-Sheep Panel, Moab, UT - It is located on the higher side of the hill, to get to this place, couple spots need attention. When hike up to the hill, there is a flat area, where 22-Sheep Panel is located. The cliff wall is large in size but petroglyphs are relatively small in size.

2/7/2019 Majic Theater Arch, Moab, UT - I saw pass by nice alcoves and hike father to find the arch. I couldn’t find any arches around here. After return, I saw the alcove again and noticed rain water stain betwen rocks, then light came out that this is the arch I am looking for. I can’t see the sky, but I am sure a long crack that called an arch there.

2/8/2019 Marching Men, Arches National Park, UT - This area is located northwest side of the Arches National Park, beautiful rock formation surrounding it, just hike aorund is worth it. I had a difficult time to take photos because I was right place but sun was not.

2/8/2019 Balancing Spire, Arches National Park, UT - This Balancing Spire is also the Leaning Spire that depending on which angle to look at. It is large in size but around here is all large rocks/boulders/cliff walls, so that this one doesn’t get any attentions, sad...

2/8/2019 Tower Arch, Arches National Park, UT - There is no sign other than the TH, the trail is all depending the cairns. It is located between fins, so that not visible from any places on the trail. It is large in size in beautiful area. I saw few more smaller arches from the trail.

2/9/2019 Eardley Canyon Panel, San Rafael Swell, UT - The panel is located on the ground level and behind the bushes, even no leaves on the bushes in winter, I missed it at first time, not easy to spot. Also color of cliff wall is not easy to see petroglyphs with human eyes.

2/10/2019 Ernie Wash Panel, San Rafael Swell, UT - The panel is located higher side of nice large flat cliff wall. I assume there were sand dune to climb up to carved petroglyphs, because there is no rocks or boulder to support it. This panel is not easy to see because of rock quality.

2/10/2019 Ernie Wash Arch, San Rafael Swell, UT - The arch is located very high up, atop of the cliff wall. Which means not easy to see it, I have a 65x optical zoom camera, so that no problem to shoot photos.

2/10/2019 Farnsworth Canyon Narrow, San Rafael Swell, UT - The canyon was getting narrower but enough space to human to go through the narrow, actually fun place for all families. It was not too long, maybe less than 1/2 mile.

2/10/2019 Farnsworth Canyon Pictographs, San Rafael Swell, UT - North side of canyon is all snow covered on the ground. I couldn’t find the panel but keep hiking, and gave it up and turn back. On the way back, I saw a cairn on the boulder, then carefully look around it, and found pictographs way high up. That small cairn made my day!

2/19/2019 Snow Storm, UT - Snow storm is not over yet, but least blue sky showed up briefly today, where weather forecast is predicting some more snow on the way. Snow started evening of two days ago and snow all day yesterday that damped least one foot of fresh snow that atop of the couple feet of old unmelted snow.

2/22/2019 Storm SE Utah - This is another snow storm, which additional storm top of the storm of three days’s ago. Snow all day yesterday and still snowing today. This snow storm dumped over a foot of snow, maybe couple feet of snow some spots. Day time high temperature predicting 26°F and night 6°F.

2/25/2019 After Snowstorm, UT - Continue to remove snow from the road, sidewalk and parking lot. There are a lot of snow on the roof, some houses are entire roof but heavy snow residue mainly north side of roof. I saw many icicles that hanging out from the roof heavily.
