9/9/2018 Bigfoot Ruin, Tuwa Canyon, Natural Bridges National Monument, UT - Technically it is 1/4 mile outside of the Natural Bridges National Monument, but close enough. Only 1.2 miles from the parking lot, I was expected much more long distance. Interesting thing was used least 3 different techniques to built ruins, first one was used sticks and added mud outside, second one was mud and rocks, third one was mud and rocks but more selective rocks and tiny rocks between rocks. The big foot mark by the door that the name got it.

9/11/2018 Corncob Hollow Ruins, Jenny Canyon, UT - The ruins are located at middle of the Jenny Canyon and upper side of canyon wall. I have view it from other side of the canyon. There is a 3 or 4th stories building/ruin, at middle of the area which hided by the tree, so that I can’t tell how tall this buidling/ruin is. I assume this building is the stair to get up to reach the upper ruins.

9/20/2018 Eight Mile Rock, UT - Photos include the Eight Mile Rock and some more caves near by. Inside the caves at the Eight Mile Rock are very neat, only need minor fix up and ready to move in, even can foods are still untouched. However some similar cave houses are not so neat, just like inside the trash can. There are many caves around here, use for houses or storage spaces.

9/20/2018 Hatch Rock, UT - This is a small scale of the Mormon polygamist community, unlike Colorado City Arizona, which is a large community. Its also called Rockland Ranch. Uniqueness of this community is a cave living, sort of, parts of houses are stick out from the cave, but mainly in the cave. My question is, few guys took all women as their wives, then left of guy population has no chance to have a wife, are there high rate of gay community in Mormon?

9/27/2018 Big Spring Cyn - Squaw Cyn Loop, The Needles, Canyonlands National Park, UT - I have hiked from the Big Spring Canyon through the Squaw Canyon loop that total 7.7 miles. The highlight of this hike is a middle of the hike, beautiful rock formation all over. I believe the counter-clockwise loop, which I took, is much more easier.

9/28/2018 Kangaroo Panel (Kay Named), Indian Creek, Bears Ears National Monument, UT - I thought this site is tough to hike up because the steepness of the slope, I was wrong, there is a trail for rock climbers, follow the trail, relatively easier to hike up. One figure that just like a kangaroo, front legs are short and back legs are long that the name got it.

9/28/2018 Five Faces Panel, Davis Canyon, The Needles, Canyonlands National Park, UT - I am so relief, it’s over. I wanted to see this panel for while but I was not sure I can drive up on the deep sand road. Positive side is I have unforgettable driving experience. But I don’t want to go back there any time soon. The panel is located at the tricky place, I took photos from other side of the cliff. I am so glad I found it.

9/29/2018 Joint Trail, The Needles, Canyonlands National Park, UT - The Joint Trail is a fun 11 miles hike from the Elephant Hill TH. Hike in the deep narrow ravine and some place was tight squeeze, which is an optional to go through that I went through an unknowingly. Then trail go through large grotto, unlike cave, light is getting in, so that visible inside. Signposted at all junctions, which easier to navigate. My recommendation is hike clockwise loop at Chesler Park to get in the Joint Trail that easier.
