I came back stay on the mesa that view is wonderful and easier hike. The Ring Arch is visible from the distance if you know where to look, my case I noticed it when got close to it. The arch is coordinate with background rock formation and beautiful.

9/6/2018 Fork 4 RA, Lower Courthouse Wash, Arches National Park, UT - I learned that there is a rock art panel in the Fort 4 Canyon, but I don’t know the exact location. I tried anyway, and lucky enough to find the panel. It is a small panel and located at tricky place. Also I found some pictographs from couple alcoves. I didn’t see any ruins.

9/9/2018 Bigfoot Ruin, Tuwa Canyon, Natural Bridges National Monument, UT - Technically it is 1/4 mile outside of the Natural Bridges National Monument, but close enough. Only 1.2 miles from the parking lot, I was expected much more long distance. Interesting thing was used least 3 different techniques to built ruins, first one was used sticks and added mud outside, second one was mud and rocks, third one was mud and rocks but more selective rocks and tiny rocks between rocks. The big foot mark by the door that the name got it.

9/11/2018 Jenny Canyon, UT - This canyon is located east side of the Recapture Canyon and parallel to it. It is short canyon and seldom people visit this canyon. I found small alcove that a new picnic table is in it and water bottles are on the top. It’s a nice place to camp out or hide out.
Go Top
9/11/2018 Corncob Hollow Ruins, Jenny Canyon, UT - The ruins are located at middle of the Jenny Canyon and upper side of canyon wall. I have view it from other side of the canyon. There is a 3 or 4th stories building/ruin, at middle of the area which hided by the tree, so that I can’t tell how tall this buidling/ruin is. I assume this building is the stair to get up to reach the upper ruins.

Go Top
9/16/2018 Cottonwood Wash, UT - Time to time go down to another lower wash but the wash is relatively wide all the way. One side of the wash is mainly red walls and other side of the wash is sand dune. It is beautiful wash to hike but not many exit/enter from/to the wash. There is no water available, very dry wash.

9/17/2018 Imperfect Panel, Orange Cliff, UT - The name is sort of adequate now because rocks are flaking away, but it was not appropriate at the beginning. There is called the perfect panel not far from this site, so that contrary to have this name in a fun way.

9/20/2018 Eight Mile Rock, UT - Photos include the Eight Mile Rock and some more caves near by. Inside the caves at the Eight Mile Rock are very neat, only need minor fix up and ready to move in, even can foods are still untouched. However some similar cave houses are not so neat, just like inside the trash can. There are many caves around here, use for houses or storage spaces.
Go Top
9/20/2018 Hatch Rock, UT - This is a small scale of the Mormon polygamist community, unlike Colorado City Arizona, which is a large community. Its also called Rockland Ranch. Uniqueness of this community is a cave living, sort of, parts of houses are stick out from the cave, but mainly in the cave. My question is, few guys took all women as their wives, then left of guy population has no chance to have a wife, are there high rate of gay community in Mormon?
Go Top
9/20/2018 Looking Glass Rock, UT - They need to improve the parking lot. Anyway, there is no designated parking lot, park the car wherever adequate. Very short hike to get to the south side of the rock mound that the best view of this place. There is a arch and small alcove in the large opening.
Go Top
9/21/2018 Arsenic Arch, UT - This is a pink arch and surrounding here is all pink rocks. It is a cute and smaller size arch located atop of the rock surface and one mile hike to get here. 9/24/2018 Red and White Panel (Kay Named), Short Canyon, UT - This Short Canyon is north of the Molen Reef Cutoff Road, not the White Canyon. White petroglyphs top of the Red pictographs that the name got it. Red pictographs are old and white petroglyphs are newer than red pictographs. I was in the Short Canyon not long ago, but I missed this panel by less than 50ft, I am glad I saw it at this time.
Go Top
9/24/2018 Enumerate Panel (Kay Named), Sid and Charlie, UT - In this panel, there are many counting figures that the name got it. There are many figures in this panel, which my favorite RA panel to see it. I saw that some petroglyphs are carved atop of the existing petroglyphs, also different groups of people carved at different times. Seems to this is a popular place.

9/24/2018 Weeping Man Panel (Kay Named), Sid and Charlie, UT - I thought he is crying because I don’t visit him sooner enough and still crying because I left too soon, ok...this is my side of story. There are few panels near the Weeping Man Panel, all those are smaller size of panels. I feel like I can find some more panels, if spend some more time.

9/27/2018 Big Spring Cyn - Squaw Cyn Loop, The Needles, Canyonlands National Park, UT - I have hiked from the Big Spring Canyon through the Squaw Canyon loop that total 7.7 miles. The highlight of this hike is a middle of the hike, beautiful rock formation all over. I believe the counter-clockwise loop, which I took, is much more easier.
Go Top
9/28/2018 Kangaroo Panel (Kay Named), Indian Creek, Bears Ears National Monument, UT - I thought this site is tough to hike up because the steepness of the slope, I was wrong, there is a trail for rock climbers, follow the trail, relatively easier to hike up. One figure that just like a kangaroo, front legs are short and back legs are long that the name got it.

9/28/2018 Five Faces Panel, Davis Canyon, The Needles, Canyonlands National Park, UT - I am so relief, it’s over. I wanted to see this panel for while but I was not sure I can drive up on the deep sand road. Positive side is I have unforgettable driving experience. But I don’t want to go back there any time soon. The panel is located at the tricky place, I took photos from other side of the cliff. I am so glad I found it.

9/29/2018 Joint Trail, The Needles, Canyonlands National Park, UT - The Joint Trail is a fun 11 miles hike from the Elephant Hill TH. Hike in the deep narrow ravine and some place was tight squeeze, which is an optional to go through that I went through an unknowingly. Then trail go through large grotto, unlike cave, light is getting in, so that visible inside. Signposted at all junctions, which easier to navigate. My recommendation is hike clockwise loop at Chesler Park to get in the Joint Trail that easier.
