3/28/2018 Ely Creek Falls, Dinosaur National Monument, UT - When I saw this waterfalls, it is too small, I was expected much large waterfalls, so that continue to hike up some more atop of the falls, but there is no water falls after that. It is smaller in size but pretty waterfalls.

3/28/2018 Deluge Shelter Panels, Dinosaur National Monument, UT - Majority is red color pictographs, but I saw some petroglyphs too. It is located between the bridge and Ely Creek Falls, and there is a trail to go through.

3/28/2018 Jones Hole Creek, Dinosaur National Monument, UT - TH starts at south end of Jones Hole National Fish Hatchery. The trail is gradual descending toward to the Green River, about 4 miles one way, along the Jones Hole Creek. There is one wooden bridge to cross the creek. I saw a dozen of bighorn sheep and three deer.

3/28/2018 Jones Hole National Fish Hatchery, UT - This place is surrounding by beautiful rock formation. A stranger thing is released fishes to not Jones Hole Creek or Green River that near by, instead of out of state like WY. However 7 good quality springs water come to here and water temperature is 54°F year round that the best condition for the fish hatchery.

3/28/2018 Blue Mountain Cliff Ridge, East of Vernal, UT - This cliff area is beautiful area and rock composition is complicated. Blue Mountain Cliff area is aggressive figure with white rock color and just below highway side is gentle figure with yellow boulders.

3/27/2018 Carrot Man Site, Dragon Road (County Road 23), near Rangely, CO - The road name was confused, my car GPS showed the name of the road was Rangely Dragon Road, where its called White Av in Rangely. The sign on the county road is telling to turn, then no sign at TH. There are red and blue color pictographs. I never see blue this much clear before.

3/27/2018 Crook’s Brand Site, Dragon Road (County Road 23), near Rangely, CO - The road name was confused, my car GPS showed the name of the road was Rangely Dragon Road, where its called White Av in Rangely. The sign was on the county road and no sign at turn right next small road. This site is the incised petroglyphs, its cut not carve to make figures.

3/27/2018 Fremont Ridge Site, Dragon Road (County Road 23), near Rangely, CO - The road name was confused, my car GPS showed the name of the road was Rangely Dragon Road, where its called White Av in Rangely. There is no sign on the County Road until at the TH. There are many oil & gas field roads, need a sign on the road. This is petroglyphs site.

3/27/2018 Shield Site, Dragon Road (County Road 23), near Rangely, CO - My car GPS showed the name of the road was Rangely Dragon Road, where its called White Av in Rangely. This site is big disappointment because only 1.5 petroglyphs present, even full figure one is someone to steal it one time.

3/26/2018 Sun Dagger Site, Canyon Pintado, near Rangely CO - Located east end of the East Four-Mile Draw. Few sun figure and some more that red and white color pictographs, located higher side of the boulder.

3/26/2018 East Four-Mile Draw, Canyon Pintado, near Rangely CO - Located State Highway #139 little off the roadside. This site is the largest site among few Canyon Pintado rock art sites. Hiked nearly one mile to get to the various places. There are two petroglyphs panels side-by-side, both panels have many figures in it.

3/26/2018 State Bridge Site, Canyon Pintado, near Rangely CO - It is located State Highway #139 roadside. Very short hike up to the site, one panel has several petroglyphs in it, one of petroglyphs is using the edge/corner of the rock.

3/26/2018 Cow Canyon Site, Canyon Pintado, near Rangely CO - Located State Highway #139 little off the roadside. Uniqueness of this site is circle figures and a gun petroglyphs. Beside petroglyphs, there are some red color pictographs too.

3/26/2018 White Birds Site, Canyon Pintado, near Rangely CO - It is located State Highway #139 roadside. Mainly white color pictographs and some of are like birds figures. Also another figures have white, red and orange colors, located upper side of the cliff.

3/26/2018 Kokopelli Site, Canyon Pintado, near Rangely CO - Located State Highway #139 roadside, one pictographs panel that has three parts all red color pictographs, center one is the Kokopelli and secure with wire rope to not fall off.

3/26/2018 Waving Hands Site, Canyon Pintado, near Rangely CO - It is located roadside of State Highway #139. There are two panels, one panel has white waving hands pictographs and other panel has red men figure pictographs.

3/21/2018 Jailhouse Ruin, Arch Canyon, Shash Jaa unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - The ruin is located way up on the cliff, I don’t know how to get up there. Seems to it is cave and showing several vertical sticks in one window.

3/21/2018 Arch Canyon Panel, Shash Jaa unit Bears Ears National Park, UT - I brought binocular with me for this hike and lucky to find it, I didn’t see any foot prints, not popular place I guess. There are faint petroglyphs and pictographs on the panel, pictures don’t come out right.

3/21/2018 Arch Canyon, Shash Jaa unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - Arches and best parts of canyon that start 7 miles from the parking lot, which I didn’t know, when I got at 7 miles I was already tired and came back another 7 miles. A means I missed best parts of the Arch Canyon hike. Even its not best, beautiful canyon to enjoy.

3/20/2018 Hotel Rock Ruin, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - To get to this ruin, hiked on the road, this road is extremely rough. 1st row right 3 photos and last row leftmost photo are parts of this road. This road is equivalent to the road from Elephant Hill to Devils Kitchen in Canyonlands NP. Someone can drive this kind condition that amazed me.

3/19/2018 Creation from Mufflers, Cortez, CO - This place is located in the private property and allowed public to walk in. These are folk art and many creations using mufflers and some other materials. He spent a lot of time to created it, and each one or group related with subject, fun place to be.

3/17/2018 Devils Lane Panel, The Needles district Canyonlands National Park, UT - I missed a turn because exceptional beautiful rock field view and end up on the Devils Lane, this mistake was good thing because I found three rock art panels, among two panels are very close each other. I felt I can find some more panels if I bring binocular with me.

3/17/2018 Chesler - Devils Lane Loop, The Needles district Canyonlands National Park, UT - TH started at the Elephant Hill. Original plan was to hike for few miles in the Needles, however weather was nice and wherever see in this park, view is exceptionally good, and end up 12 miles hike. There are many hiking trails in this park, but most of are long distance.

3/14/2018 Mule Canyon Fort Ruin (Kay Named), Mule Canyon North Fork, Cedar Mesa, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - I try to as close as possible but I didn’t do the last layer of rock scramble. It is impressed look ruins, even view from one layer below is amazing view, from ruins view is I only assume that superior.

3/14/2018 Edge of Sky Granary (Kay Named), Mule Canyon North Fork, Cedar Mesa, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - The granary is standing unbelievably higher side of the cliff, so that I named Edge of Sky Granary. I wish I can take photos little more closer but climb up is too much for me, even I didn’t try to climb up.

3/14/2018 Guest House Ruins (Kay Named), Mule Canyon North Fork, Cedar Mesa, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - There are two separate ruins and very close each other, so that I named guest house ruin, so that visitors can have own ruin to relax, is this make sense?

3/14/2018 Two Walls Ruin (Kay Named), Mule Canyon North Fork, Cedar Mesa, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - Only two standing wall ruin under the alcove and behind bushes and trees, not easy to find it, I have missed first time, and found way back.

3/13/2018 Mother-in-Law Ruins (Kay Named), Mule Canyon South Fork, Cedar Mesa, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - The ruins are two separate locations but close enough to communicate well. View from those ruins is gorgeous Mule Canyon view.

3/13/2018 Upstair Downstair Ruins (Kay Named), Mule Canyon South Fork, Cedar Mesa, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - Downstair ruin is easy to access but Upstair ruins are not, few logs are ladders but not easy to access to the upstair.

3/13/2018 Mule Canyon Panel, Mule Canyon South Fork, Cedar Mesa, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - This is the only I found a rock art panel in the Mule Canyon South Fork in 5 miles range from TH. It is located bottom area of large cliff wall and north side of the Upstair Downstair Ruins.

3/13/2018 Safety Fence Ruin (Kay Named), Mule Canyon South Fork, Cedar Mesa, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - Outer layer of fence is the safety fence to not fall off anything from the living area, where ruins are located upper side of the cliff.

3/13/2018 One Window Ruin (Kay Named), Mule Canyon South Fork, Cedar Mesa, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - This small window is also entrance to the back corner room in the ruin, I don’t know how to get in/out from the room.

3/13/2018 House on Fire, Mule Canyon South Fork, Cedar Mesa, Shash Jaa Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - This is my 2nd visit to the House on Fire, fire came out ok with Canon camera this time. Click here for my 1st visit photos Canon camera couldn’t make fire and used a pocket camera to fire out. The creek was totally dried out that surprise me.

3/10/2018 Citadel Ruin, Cedar Mesa, UT - I didn’t do homework for this ruin and last 1/4 mile I couldn’t find the trail, and I can’t see the ruin, so that came back. Later I checked the Internet, its very nice ruin and hiding from where I was standing. I should to go back to visit some day. The trail is on the rim of the Road Canyon and view of canyons are just gorgeous.

3/9/2018 Seven Kivas, Cedar Mesa, UT - There is no sign of the trail, find way down to the bottom of the canyon by follow the cairns. It is beautiful red rock all over the canyon and many layers of the cliff, there are possibility of many hiding ruins around here. I assume current kivas are recreation and not safe to get near by.

3/9/2018 Fallen Roof Ruin, Cedar Mesa, UT - Relatively easy hike to get to the ruin. This ruin is popular for photographers, because uniqueness of roof and ruin photos are outstanding, I hope my photos are showing too. The ruins are only small four rooms, and one is broken but three are still standing beautifully.

3/6/2018 Dinosaur Museum, Moab, UT - I think Moab Giants is the official name of this place. They have 1/2 mile outdoor dinosaur trail and 100+ life size dinosaurs displayed and those are very good quality of dinosaurs. Also they have 3D Theater, 5D Aquarium and indoor museum. Fee $22 is little pricey but worth it.

3/6/2018 Highway #313 Roadside Rock Art Panel, near Moab, UT - This Rock Art Panel is facing highway #313 but no one give any attention, I was one of them before. To get to closer to the panel, need to bushwhacking, even no trail, a means not popular this place. Located little faded out petroglyphs are middle of the cliff.

3/6/2018 Seven Mile Canyon, near Moab, UT - I did homework and find 5 rock art sites. I have hiked until end of the vehicle road, about 3miles, and turn back, a means I didn’t go to all the way to end of the canyon. It was sandy trail all the way. The best RA was Stickmen Panel, there are least 6 stickmen in the panel.

3/5/2018 Green River Launch Complex, UT - It also called Utah Launch Complex that was a Cold War military subinstallation of White Sands Missile Range for USAF and US Army rocket launches. They spend over $3 million for facilities, currently it is ghost facilities. All building doors are open and seems to free to walk in but creepy.

3/5/2018 Butterfly Bend, Green River, UT - Plan A was drive up to the rock art site, but can’t find the right road to get there. Plan B was better road to get to the TH and hike, which I did. There is no trail, so that hike my own. I found 5 panels on the boulders, suppose to some more but I missed.

3/3/2018 Fightingmen Panel, Indian Creek Unit Bears Ears National Monument, UT - This area is recently became a National Monument. I have visited this panel not long ago, but missing to take photos of some, so that re-visited and took some more photos.

3/3/2018 Flying Carpet Panel, Canyonlands National Park, UT (9 miles) - I wanted to see this panel for while and finally happy to see it. It was very difficult to find it because I can’t find the exact location prior to visit, this is the case of a victory by guess. Its located at the middle of the cliff, bushwhack to get up there.
