9/30/2015 Coquille River Lighthouse, OR - Today is the last day of the season to open the lighthouse. No electorocity in the building, too cold to stay open, close tomorrow. It is not functionally working lighthouse, historical and attraction for the visitors.

9/30/2015 Cape Arago, OR - I was confused the Cape Arago Lighthouse is located at the end of the Cape Arago Highway, but lighthouse is located north side of the Sunset Bay and no access road for the public.

9/30/2015 Simpson Reef, OR - There are hundres of sea lions gather in the Simpson Reef and Shell Islands. Some sea lions are in the water but most of are on the rocks/islands to enjoy the company. They talk so laud that was underestimated.

9/30/2015 Shore Acres State Park, OR - This place was privately owned before, it was summer house with five acres of formal gardens. When fire destroyed the mansion, never recovered by financially during the Depression, State of Oregon purchased it in 1942. Well maintained flower garden has flowers all year long.

9/29/2015 Sunset Bay, Charleston, OR - There is nice sandy beach here and view from the top of the cliff is wonderful. There are many large size rocks near the shore, and many hiking trails.

9/29/2015 Umpqua Lighthouse, OR - I join to the lighthouse tour. This lighthouse is little far from the sea that I thought, it is getting far from the sea every year that tour guid said. All Oregon lighthouses are white color outside that easier to see green trees background.

9/28/2015 Oregon Dunes, OR - The dunes are large in size from Town of Florence to North Bend, over 50 miles long, north to south, next to the ocean. I still not totally understand where those sands came from, Forest Service lady told me, rivers carry sands from mountains and wave and wind created the sand dunes.

9/28/2015 Oregon State Capitol, Salem, OR - Oregon has no sales tax. Current building is the third capitol building, first two were burned out. Top of the gold stature on the capitol building is the oregonian as a general.

9/28/2015 Stayton-Jordan Covered Bridge, salem, OR - This covered bridge is re-located to current location of the Pioneer Park, and re-built after 1994 fire in 1998. It is use for only pedestrian and bikes, but not car.

9/27/2015 Oregon Garden, OR - I was on my way to FLW designed house, the house is located in this place. This place has provided free Tram tour for every half hour. There are many different sections, such as Water Garden, Iris Garden, Childrent's Garden and more. This place is located on the hill side and still expanding.

9/27/2015 Conrad Gordon House, Silverton, OR - This is the only house that Frank Lloyd Wright designed in the Oregon. The house was re-located into the Oregon Garden property to avoid demolition. Owners love it but their children were not, after owners pass a way, house was abandoned for while.

9/27/2015 Gallon House Covered Bridge, OR - A local told me that the Moon Shine, illigal alchohol, sold by a gallon near by house, and the name from it. It is oldest covered bridge in Oregon, the bridge was re-built in 1990. It is still actually using it.

9/26/2015 North Beach Seashore Conservation Area, WA - I've been to highway #109 all way to Toholah that northern most and pave end. I saw highest and agressive water waves in the Toholah seashore. There are several beached along the way, such as Pacific Beach, Sunset Beach and more. Waterfalls photo from the Rainbow Falls SP.

9/24/2015 Metrotown, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada - It is a large shopping mall, total 450 stores in it and renovated year of 2005, like a new shopping mall. It was rain outside, nice to spend time in the mall.

9/23/2015 Stanley Park, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada - The Stanley Park is larger than the City Park in New York. Vancouver Aquarium is located in this park. There are many interesting fishes, frogs, snakes and much more that attract with families to visit. Totem Poles are located not far from the Aquarium, which attract to many visitors.

9/22/2015 Surrey, British Columbia, Canada - Surrey is located southeast from Vancouver. The library building is very nice design by Bing Thom, I felt inside library design is similar to the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Guggenheim museum in New York, that white color dominated smooth shape. Central City is shopping mall and college, what's a combination.

9/21/2015 Richmond, British Columbia, Canada - This place is famous for the night market, however I didn't know that its opens only Friday, Saturday and Sunday. After Richmond, I was exploring around the Convention Centre in Vancouver, and met three Japanese ladies. I hope they can live in their dream, just like me.

9/20/2015 Science World, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada - Official name of this place is the Telus Science World. It is an enjoyable place for all ages, and I saw many families. I hope everyone learned that the science is fun from this place.

9/19/2015 North Vancover, British Columbia, Canada - Not far from Vancouver, only 13 minutes with SeaBus or less than 2 miles north of Vancouver. I saw many Sushi restaurants but some of are not owned by Japanese, a means they are lack of Japanese delicate, but no one care of it, I thought that sad.

9/17/2015 Vancouver Tour, British Columbia, Canada - Started late but I enjoy the Trolley Bus tour all day today, which is hop-on/off tour bus. Those trolleys are from Las Vegas that driver said, I was in Las Vegas, there is no such thing a trolley, I guess it moved to Vancouver already. Two places took my eyes that the Granville Island and Gastown.

9/16/2015 Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada - Transportation from North Vancouver to Vancouver is called a sea bus, only 13 minutes ride. I walked to and enjoyed at the Chinatown, however there are constructions going on and not easy to cross the street. Also walk around the Science World and ride a water taxi.

9/15-25/2015 Home Stay, North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada - I picked up this place, a room or whole house rented by its owner, on airbnb.ca. This beautiful multi-million-dollar house is one year old with 8 bedrooms in over 4,400 sq ft include a theather. I enjoy millionaire life style for while.

9/15/2015 Ferry Langdale to Horseshoe Bay, British Columbia, Canada - This BC ferry ride from the Langdale is free of charge. They charge fee both ways, and return is free of charge. However some route they charge both ways, better to ask each ferry. It was very calm water level and smooth ride.

9/15/2015 Cliff Gilker Park, Roberts Creek, British Columbia, Canada - Just off the highway #101. There are few trails, and popular place to enjoy nature with hike by family or friends. There are nice waterfalls.

9/13/2015 Gibsons Landing, British Columbia, Canada - This is the closest town to the Vancouver on the Sunshine Coast Route. This town is located southwest from the Langdale, where Langdale is the ferry port to the Horseshoe Bay. It is laid-back atmosphere town that people like it, population 4,000 increase to 20,000 in summer.

9/13/2015 Roberts Creek, British Columbia, Canada - At the end of the road, which is short side road from the highway #101, there is the community art work. Each year, re-draw new picture on the road that involved people from the community.

9/12/2015 Sechelt (pronounce Sea Shelt), British Columbia, Canada - I have visited the Farmer's Market, Sea Side Walk, Porpoise Bay, Hidden Grove and saw the graval conveir belt that move graval from the pit to ship. This town is located between two inlets, one called Sechelt Inlet and another one called Georgia Strait.

9/11/2015 Madeira Park, British Columbia, Canada - This place is located by the highway, so that I just stop by for while. However this area is large in size and I missed most of.

9/11/2015 Garden Bay, British Columbia, Canada - I thought there is nice flower garden by the bay, so that it is called the Garden Bay, I was wrong. When I was there, it was low tide and someone told me water level will raise by 15 ft when at high tide.

9/11/2015 Skookumchuck Rapids, British Columbia, Canada - The size of the rapid is depending time of the day and related with the tides. When I was there, it was a good rapids that people told me. One river is higher than another at the merged point that caused rapids to occur. Beside whitewater, there are many whirlpools.

9/11/2015 Ferry from Saltery Bay to Earls Cove, British Columbia, Canada - Sea lion jumped up few times, but I missed shots. One rare cloud I saw that side way of large log shape, see last photo. It was very nice smooth ride and saw many small islands.

9/10/2015 Lund, British Columbia, Canada - It is the end of the mile "0" (zero) mark for the highway #101 or northern end of the Sunshine Coast Route. I drove from the Powell River to Lund, I know sea is by the highway but no pull over point at all, I just drive that all I did it. It is a fishing village.

9/10/2015 Powell River, British Columbia, Canada - "The Powell River is 32 miles long and 2nd shortest river in the world" I think many shorter river do exist in the world, don't you? 10 ship hulks that old ships flowting and breakwater for the log pound for the paper mill, which is the largest industory in this town at the peak at 1973, 2,500 employees.

9/10/2015 Ferry from Comox to Powell River, British Columbia, Canada - Yesterday I missed a ferry by 10 minutes, so I came early today to not miss it. Only one ferry on Wednesday daytime, so watch out. It was 1.5 hrs ride and cost me $55.

9/8/2015 Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada - The town name and river names are the same. It is modern and active city. The inlet sea side, road is long stretch and resort, long beach and beach front residents are miles. The wooden curving products located one of the beach park. I added Miracle Beach photos too.

9/8/2015 Myra Falls, British Columbia, Canada - There are many samll random cascade falls and no place to take all falls in one photo. However, rock formation is very nice and can spend time here to enjoy waterfalls.

9/8/2015 Lupin Falls, British Columbia, Canada - The nearlest town is the Gold River. The falls are two separate falls, top one is dynamic tall falls, bottom one is gentle falls. It is short hike to get it.

9/7/2015 Gold River, British Columbia, Canada - Both town and river names are the same. At the end of the road, highway #28, there are two stores, air taxi and boat tour. It is lead to Nootka Sound that Muchalat Inlet in Pacific Ocean.

9/7/2015 Elk Falls, Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada - Using large wooden pipes to carry the water. They built a suspension bridge for to view the Elk Falls. The Elk Falls are beautiful and tall falls. The trail is well maintained hiking trail, stairs and bridges.

9/6/2015 Port McNeill, British Columbia, Canada - The world's largest burl is located in this town. It is port town, ferry to Alert Bay and Saintula every days few times per day, and leave car in this town and to visit those two islands is possible and enjoyable.

9/5/2015 Alert Bay, British Columbia, Canada - This is an island and ferry from the Port McNeill for 40 minutes to get it. There are many Fist Nation's items display on this island that include the world's tallest totem pole, which is about 163 ft high, where 10 ft lost by storm few years ago. Free BBQ selmon lunch at the U'mista Cultural Centra.

9/4/2015 Port Alice, British Columbia, Canada - This town was relocated 50 years ago to current location from about one mile south, because land sliding. Currently the paper mill, which is major industory here, is shut down, but local is hoping to open some time next year. Walkout Island that only island when high tide.

9/4/2015 Blackstone Coal Harbour, British Columbia, Canada - Aircab float plane museum that the private collection of mining, air force, whale hunting and more. This is the last Canada's whaling station and many items displayed in it.

9/3/2015 Fish Hatchery, Port Hardy, Canada - The official name of this place is "Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre", they hatch and release few different kind Salmons or native fishes. To destingush their harched Salmon or not by cutting the soft dorsal fin. Surronding by natural trail called the Quatse Trail loop, which I've hiked.

9/3/2015 Fort Rupert, British Columbia, Canada - Visitor Center mentioned about 2km stretch in the beach, there is petroglyphs. However it was not good enough information to find it. I was lucky, I asked Jason H. and he knows exactly what I am looking for and he kindly took me to right place and find it. Thank You Jason H.

9/3/2015 Port Hardy, British Columbia, Canada - BC Ferry arrived at the Port Hardy at 11:30 pm, it was too late to do anything. This town is a sister city to the Numata, Hokkaido, Japan, which means few Japanese items displayed.

9/1/2015 Ferry Prince Rupert to Port Hardy, British Columbia, Canada - Ferry from the Prince Rupert to Port Hardy one way ride, here are the photos that I saw from the ferry. The ferry was 7th floors high and runs very smooth Inner Passage route, we saw few waterfalls, few whailes and small communities. It was 16.5 hrs ride and cost me about $650.

9/1/2015 Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada - This town is located on the Kaien Island and so much rain they have that the reason and town low to no one can have horse, cow or pigs, a means animals legs become damage by in the water all the time. Low and high tides are 24 ft different for every 6 hours.
