8/31/2015 Pictographs, British Columbia, Canada - This place is located about 30 km east from the Prince Rupert on the highway #16 by the Skeena River. There is tiny pullout that coordinates are 54° 46' 57.7” and 121° 11' 21.0°

8/31/2015 Kitselas Canyon, British Columbia, Canada - At the parking lot, there are 4 houses 5 totem poles in one side, 2 houses another side, front of these two houses, there is a petroglyphs rock, which is the trail starting point. All houses are nice art to decorate. 4 totem poles along the trail, where trail spread to two, I have hiked both trails.

8/30/2015 Hazelton, British Columbia, Canada - This is the oldest surviving pionia community in northwest of British Columbia and located by the Skeena River.

8/30/2015 K'san, British Columbia, Canada - Pronounce this town name is "ku-san" To get this place, there is a suspension bridge that one of the highest suspension bridge in North America. Preserve the historical village that has few old buildings and totem poles. Houses are decorate very nicely. This place is near the Skeena River.

8/29/2015 Smithers, British Columbia, Canada - When I was there, there are a farmer's market and Bulkley Valley Fair were going on, it was excited time for whole town. I have visited the Twin Falls. A local told me that ground of this area is soft and house is shinking if doesn't do right for the fundation.

8/28/2015 Houston, British Columbia, Canada - World's largest freestanding (60ft) fly-rod. Wooden bull sculpture that honor the Canadian Bull Champion Rider. There is large Grizzly Bear (975 lb) display side of the Visitor Center.

8/27/2015 Beaumont Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada - It is located by the Fraser Lake that 4 km (2.5 miles) west of the Fort Fraser. Color of the leaves is changing, summer is soon to be over.

8/25/2015 Barbour Falls, Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, Canada - Top part of the waterfalls is like few small cascade falls and bottom is spread out. It is beautiful waterfalls but view only from the top, and no trail to go to the bottom of the waterfalls.

8/25/2015 Nesbitt's Knee Falls, Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, Canada - 2 parts of falls, top is straight down and below spread out. Use a rope to hike up/down at opposite side of the steep trail from falls. It is beautiful waterfalls.

8/25/2015 Canary Falls, Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, Canada - Sign indicates Jude Falls instead of Canary Falls, I guess they changed name but forgot to change the sign. Use rope to up/down the steep trail by the waterfalls. It is beautiful and close enough to feel the power.

8/25/2015 Kinuseo Falls, Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, Canada - This is my second try to see the falls, at last time there was flood on the last one mile of the road and road was closed. I am happy to see it at this time. It is beautiful waterfalls and higher than Niagara Falls.

8/25/2015 Flatbed Falls, Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, Canada - It is located close to the highway 29 and town of the Tumbler Ridge, only 10 minutes of hike. It is 4 m high waterfalls on the Flatbed Creek.

8/23/2015 WAC Bennett Dam, Hudson's Hope, British Columbia, Canada - This dam produce 25% of all BC's power. The underground power house that can't see from the photos, it is 152 m (500 ft) deep and produce power in there. The tour is cross the dam by drive up on the dam but not go inside the underground power house.

8/23/2015 Hudson's Hope, British Columbia, Canada - It is a small town. I have visited a museum, they have collection of the dinosors borns, which found it in locally, also they preserve the old houses nicely.

8/21/2015 Blackstone Territorial Park, Northwest Territories, Canada - This park is located by the Liard River, which is just like a large lake, and nice mountain view behind of the lake. Shortly after left the park at early morning, about 3 dozens of herd of buffaloes on/side of the highway that was once of life experience to see so many buffaloes.

8/21/2015 Fort Simpson Ferry, Northwest Territories, Canada - A couple who live in the Fort Simpson, run out gas and spent over night at the pullout, I try to help them by passed thier message to the ferry member and a resucur was on the way. Captain of ferry remember it, when I got ride a ferry back, he inviteed me to take a photo that was special.

8/20/2015 Sambaa Deh Falls Teritorial Park, Northwest Territories, Canada (5 miles) - There are 3 waterfalls, Coral Falls, Sambaa Deh Falls and Creek Falls in this park on the Trout River. I have hiked both up and down for the Coral Falls, and on the Sambaa Deh Falls trail to go to the big bend viewing tower and saw both Sambaa Deh Falls and Creek Falls.

8/20/2015 Wallace Creek Waterfalls, Northwest Territories, Canada - It is located by the highway and not easy to find the trail to go to the Wallance Creek Waterfalls, follow the creek then find the waterfalls. There is not enough water to see the spectacular waterfalls, but small waterfalls are pretty.

8/19/2015 Fort Providence Territorial Park, Northwest Territories, Canada - There are the Popra Trees in entire campground, just like the Aspen Trees, it is beautirul white trunk of trees. I saw the Crain by the Mckenzie river. The Mckenzie river is wide and lot of water is running.

8/18/2015 Farmer's Market, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada - Every Tuesday during summer at the city park, there is a farmer's market. According to a local, there is no actual farmers in Yellowknife, people bring whatever available to sell it. A key point is people line up that suppose to good.

8/17/2015 Legislative Assembly, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada - This place equivalent state capitol of the Northwest Territories. Main building is rounding and rooms are rounding also. 9 different launguages + 2 official English and French, total 11 languages to use in this terrirories.

8/17/2015 Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada - The sign indicate Yellowknife Museum for this center. There are few rooms and display nicely for each rooms/categories. There is a room for the sandstone curving art display, it is beautirul art works.

8/17/2015 Prelude Lake Territorial Park, Northwest Territories, Canada - I have hiked Prelude Lake Natural Trail, about 2 miles. Mainly hike up/down on the granite rocks, which surprisingly not sliprely. It is beautirul hiking trail, the signs are all over and nice lakes view.

8/16-18/2015 Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada - This is the norther most town I am visiting for this trip. A large black bear at the roadside welcome me. The bridge is only couple years old. Population 20,000 and most stores are closed on Sunday, parking problem is a major headack in this town. Main industory is the diamond mine. The house price is sky high.

8/16/2015 Lady Evelyn Falls Territorial Park, Northwest Territories, Canada - The waterfalls are wide and powerfull waterfalls, I saw rainbow. We view the waterfalls from the top, however I have hike down to the bottom of the waterfalls to take photos.

8/16/2015 McNallie Creek Territorial Park, Northwest Territories, Canada - This place is located roadside of highway #1. It is small but beautiful waterfalls, 17 m tall. There are few picnic tables to family to enjoy.

8/15/2015 Hay River, Northwest Territories, Canada - I made it to Northwest Territories. This is the town of Hay River that the same name to the river name. Many people's photo in one side of town that the residents who passed the way. I have enjoyed at the Hay River Territorial Park beach on south shore of the Great Slave Lake.

8/15/2015 Twin Falls, Northwest Territories, Canada - One waterfalls called Alexandra Falls that massive water falls wide watrfalls. The color was between white and brown and between. Another one called Louise Falls that shape just like someone cutted. It is shorter but good size waterfalls, view from the top.

8/14/2015 La Crete Ferry, Alberta, Canada - The ferry is twin hulled steel, propulsion driven, a means ferry part is center of the on the two boats, when boats move, ferry moves side way. It is on the Peace River and ferry is free of charge.

8/14/2015 Mackenzie Highway, Grimshaw, Alberta, Canada - The Mackenzie Highway runs from this "0" (zero) mark that located in the town of Grimshaw. This town population is about 2,500 and very quiet town.

8/13/2015 Chetwynd, British Columbia, Canada - By the visitor center, there are so many beautiful wooden curved art products. They have annual wood curving contest, and wood curved art products are spreading all over the town. If I have a chance at next time, I'll walk entire town to see all art work.

8/13/2015 Bijoux Falls Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada - It is beautiful waterfalls, and located highway 97 roadside, which northeast of town of the Mackenzie. There were many dark blue and black colored birds between parking lot and waterfalls.

8/13/2015 Mackenzie, British Columbia, Canada - 1966 instant town Mackenzie was born created lumber company for their employees. The company created houses for 500 employees family just one year or so. The town is celebrating the 50 years anniversary. Current population is about 4,000.

8/12/2015 Tree Crasher Park, Mackenzie, British Columbia, Canada - The tree crasher was world largest tree crasher one time and use it for land clearing to make houses in the town of Mackenzie. It is located entrance of the town of Mackenzie and roadside.

8/12/2015 Cottonwood Island Park, Prince Gorge, British Columbia, Canada - Curved part of live tree, art work by Elmer Gunderson, native of Prince Gorge. It was fun to finding his art work on the nice trail, I really enjoyed it.

8/11/2015 Pinnacles Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada (6 miles) - The pinnacle place was too close to parking lot that caused I missed and follow the trail that took me to different place, I have turn back at the "No Tresspass" sign. The Pinnacles are located by the chain fence and we view it from the top.

8/10/2015 Seton Dam, British Columbia, Canada - BC hydro company provide free campgrounds and recreational areas through out British Columbia. At this Seton Dam, there is campground, boat deck, picnic area, and nice fishing site near the dam and by the lake.

8/5-10/2015 Pemberton 2015, British Columbia, Canada - I spent few days with my daughter's family. My grandsons are so active, bearly keep up with them. There are so many kids gathered to celebrate Kale's birthday, it was fun to watch many kids in one place.

8/4/2015 Sand Sculpting, Parkville, British Columbia, Canada - It was Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition & Exhibition World Championship. Participants spent 30 hrs over 4 days to complete it with just sand and water. It is amazing to see that made with sand.

8/1-8/3/2015 Victoria 2015 - Hard to keep up three active grandsons, two from my daughter and one from my niece. We stay my niece's house in Victoria and had so much funs in short period of time, such as Train ride, Water Taxi ride and play in the beach.
