11/29/2014 Boyscout Canyon Hot Springs, NV (8.1 miles) - Attempt - Via Gold Strike Hot Springs Trail and pass the saddle by the Hoover Dam-Bridge BM. 11/24/2014 Primm Outlet Mall, NV - Usually I passed this place, today I sptopped by to see what this shopping mall looks like. This mall is located very end of the Nevada and California border. North side of the mall is the Primm Valley Casino Resorts and continue to shopping mall follow. In the mall, there are many brand name outlet stores.

11/24/2014 Lava Tube, Mojave National Preserve, CA - Lava field is located between Kelso Visitor Center and town of Baker. The Lava Tube is more likely the volcanic cave, and some of we can walk in the tube/tunnel/cave with own risk.

11/23/2014 Rock Spring, Mojave National Preserve, CA (1.5 miles) - A ranger told me and I was here to see the petroglyphs, there is no sign to indicate the location of the petroglyphs, a means I have to look up/down to find it. I found petroglyphs near the Rock Springs area.

11/23/2014 Barber Peak Loop, Mojave National Preserve, CA (6 miles) - Variety of rock formations that can be seen from this loop hike, white rock under the brown rock was beautiful, black volcanic rocks were totally different from other rocks, and merge to the Rings Loop and climb up steep wallls using rings that was fun parts.

11/22/2014 Hole-in-the-Wall, Mojave National Preserve, CA (3 miles) - I have hiked the Ring Loop Trail and join the ranger leading petroglyphs tour. There are soo many holes in the rock wall and fun to climb up using the rings. The petroglyphs are on the volcanic rocks and not easy to see the total figures.

11/22/2014 Ivanpah Solar Power, CA - Curretly the world's largest solar thermal power station and opened February of this year. There are three towers with 55,000 solar panels for each tower. Bright place has water tank and heat it up, steam comes down and generate energy. Need constantly clean the solar cell panels.

11/18/2014 Arizona Hot Springs Petroglyphs, AZ - These petroglyphs are located in the dry wash area one mile east side of the Arizona Hot Springs. The view of surrounding mountains, canyons and rock formations are gorgeoous. Few dry waterfall walls are challengeable to climb up for adventures.

11/15/2014 Sugerloaf Mountain, AZ (2.4 miles) - This is my third peak today. There is no trail, we can climb up any rocky surface of the mountain. The view from atop of the mountain was gorgeous, I look down the Hoover Dam, by pass bridge and Lake Mead. Also I look down a helicopter flys.

11/15/2014 Butter Peak, AZ - This peak located less than 0.2 miles southwest from the Peanut Peak. Children have so much energy, fun to watch that they play tirelessly on the peak.

11/15/2014 Peanut Peak, AZ (4.6 miles include Butter Peak) - We parked on the side of the highway93 near the MM6. Kenny is 7 years old now, who is Chris Meyer's son, named these mountains, Peanut Pk and Butter Pk, also the Jelly and Sandwitch Pks follow. The view from the peak was wonderful that inculed Mt Wilson.

11/13/2014 Circus Circus, Las Vegas, NV - The Adventuredome is one of America's largest indoor theme parks, there are 25 rides and attractions. It is owned and operated by MGM Resorts International. The Adventuredome is not 24/7 operation, there are time limit, check the schedule before heading there.

11/13/2014 Delano, Las Vegas, NV - Opened September 2014, spent $80 Millions to renovate to a boutique hotel and changed name to Delano Las Vegas from the THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. The entrance walkway is different than any other hotels in nice way, and still a subset of the Mandalay Bay. Just rocks but they use it for art and nicely done.

11/13/2014 Westgate, Las Vegas, NV - This place has been changed name/owner few times, and the Westgate took over July 2014. The Westgate company is a timeshare compnay from Florida. The timeshare business is started for this hotel. The sign that largest freestanding sign in the world, see second row two leftmost photos.

11/9/2014 Stonewall Mountain, NV (7.5 miles) - We hiked up to least five peaks today but count only one because recognized as not peaks, just bumps. Repeat up and down to reached the peak, which located in the Nallis Air Force property, but there was no sign, so we can hike up to the peak. The 360° view from the peak was breathtaking.

11/8/2014 Goldfield, NV - The town was discoverd 1900 and about $2,300,000 value of gold was discoved in 1904, continuously find gold until 1959. The population was grow to 25,000 at one time, currently less than 1.000. According to the visitor center lady, another gold boom will coming soon.

11/8/2014 Lone Mountain, NV (3.8 miles) - It was short hike but strenuous hike by 2,442 ft of elevation gain. There were two stone ruin like, see third and fourth photos, at the peak and lot of ladybugs. Wide view from the peak was wonderful. Also we found some more stone ruin like not too far from our TH, see second row righmost photo.
