5/25/2014  Duffer Peak, NV (6.8 miles) - It is located northern & western nevada and not far from the Oregon border. We hiked up from the Blue Lake TH. Snow covered mountains but we avoided snow as much as we can to reach the summit. We have camp out by the Onion Valley Reservoir.    Download GPS File

5/25/2014 Jackson Mountain HP, NV (2 miles) - It is located northen central Nevada and northwest from the town of the Winnemuca. We camped out near the old mine site, view from there was breathtaking. I found a small scopion from my camp site. The miner's old buildings and track were still remind.       Download GPS File

5/24/2014  Mt Lewis, NV (2.5 miles) - It is located south side of the town of the Battle Mountain by the Highway #80. It is possible to drive up all the way to near the summit, but we parked little lower place and hiked up to the summit. At the summit, there is a green container. 5/24/2014  Mt Augusta, NV (4.5 miles) - It is located between Reno and Eureka, Nevada. Many snow patches near the summit but we didn't feel cold. However snow patches made mountains view incretable. At the summit, there are a tower and brand new solar cell panels.       Download GPS File

5/17/2014  Hayford Peak, NV (15.2 miles) - I joined to Californian team today, they came from California to climb up to the Hayford Peak, they slept only 2 to 4 hours at last night that incretable to hike over 15 miles. The trail dissapeared at time to time but we managed to reach the peak.       Download GPS File

5/8/2014  Red Rock Ridge, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, NV (12 miles) - Original plan was to complete the entire Red Rock ridge from north to south. When we got around the North Peak, we can see many peaks on the way that discouraged and decided to end today's hike at the North Peak. Nice weather and nice view hike.

5/4/2014  Nelson Range High Point, DV, CA (2.6 miles that include cabins tour) - Temperture over 100 °F that the case I didn't want to hike, but it was windy and wind made cooler, it was a pleasant hike. I hiked up from the Nelson Cabin, a means I went through two false summits to get the true summit.     GPS Trail File     GPS Road File

5/4/2014  Bonnie Lee Cabin, DV, CA - This is a neighbor cabin to the Nelson Cabin, I stopped by way back from the Nelson Range High Point hike. It is smaller than the Nelson Cabin, again very clean and organized, and we can stay if we want to. Just in time for blooming many wildflowers around here.

5/4/2014  Nelson Cabin, DV, CA - This is one of many cabins in the Death Valley National Park, we can stay over night for first come first service. It is very clean and organized cabin and nicely decorated. I stopped by way to hike up to the Nelson Range High Point.

5/4/2014  Waucoba Saline Road - Saline Valley Road, DV, CA - When come from north the road called the Waucoba Saline Road then at the Bat Rock Road, the road name changes to the Saline Valley Road, actually one road that run north to south and have two names. It was long drive on the dirt road and I saw those.

5/3/2014  Palm Hot Springs, DV, CA - This place is 3/4 mile from the Saline Warm Springs, and it is a hot springs. This place has two sorking tubs, where Saline Warm Springs has three soaking tubs, and both have own shower. Camp host is taking care both springs for daily basis.

5/3/2014  Saline Warm Springs, DV, CA - It is located on the Bad Rock Road. To get there by the Waucoba Saline Road or Saline Valley Road. It is an oasis in the desert. This is the place that only nudity is accepted in the National Park system in US. It is free of charge and can campout 30 days in the year.

5/3/2014  Chalfant Valley Petorglyphs, CA (1 mile) - This place is located near the highway #6. The clliff is about 1/2 mile long and three major places to see group of the petroglyphs in this area. Some petroglyphs are large in size.

5/2/2014  Fish Slough Petroglyphs, CA - It is located in the Tableland, north of Bishop. Two major petroglyphs locations by the Fish Slough Road that run by parallel to the highway #6. Both places many densely populated petroglyphs on the rocks.

5/2/2014  Pleasant Valley Reservoir, CA (6.4 miles) - Hiked by the Owens River side paved road, use to road was open for the automobile, but they closed it, only allowed foot traffic now. Seems to fisherman's paradice, I saw many people fishing even at early morning. Refrection of the mountain view on the surface of the reservoir was breathtaking.

5/1/2014  13 Moons Petroglyphs Panel, CA - I found both the Sky Rock Petroglyphs and 13 Moons Petroglyphs Panel within two hours not two days, that was happy moment for me. Not many people visited this panel by not many foot prints around here. The 13 moons are very clearly seen on the panel.

5/1/2014  Sky Rock Petroglyphs, CA (2 miles for both Sky Rock and 13 Moons Panel) -It is located in the Owens Vally and not far from the Owens River. I did homework, so that relatively easy to find it at this time. Many petroglyphs are top of one large rock that faced the sky that the reason it is called the Sky Rock Petroglyphs.
