7/31/2011  Buckingham Palace, London - I selected The Buckingham Palace for the last day of London stay. I spent total 5 hrs for mainly waiting to see inside the palace, see first photo is overcrowded the ticket line, 1 1/2 hrs to purchased a ticket. We are not allowed to take photos inside the palace, so that many photos are from the posters. I also visited The Royal Mews. 3rd row 1st photo is near the palace.

7/30/2011  Kew Garden, London - The Kew Garden is about 300 acres of the large garden/park, many people and many families enjoy the picnics. The main attractions of this place are, Xstrata Treetop Walkway, Princess of Wales Conservatory, Kew Palace, Waterlily House, Japanese Garden, flower gardens, lakes and much more. I enjoyed walking around in the park, especially to take many flower photos.

7/29/2011  Cardiff, Wales - I visited the Cardiff City Central that has many arcades and markets, St. Fagans National Historical Museum that has historical village with preserved many buildings and the castle with beautiful garden, Cardiff Castle that located central cardiff, and Cardiff Bay that many unique buildings near by. No passport necessary between England and Wales, even use the same currency.

7/28/2011  Sushi Party, London - I invited all house-mates and Jane's friends to the Temaki-Sushi (see second photo) party. I suppose to cook but Jane did all cutting and cooking, even she took me to the Chinese grocery store. Everyone enjoyed my favorite drink that mix with Sake and Plum Wine. It was fun sushi party because everyone create own Temaki-Sushi, which they never have experienced before.

7/26/2011  York, England - York is located north from London, about 2hr train ride. It is a tourist town and many small shops in narrow arcades and open markets. New Castle is located north of York, one of the bridges called the Gateshead Millenium Bridge and whole bridge tilt to half way to large boats to go throgh under, see 2nd row 2nd from right. I saw few bridges, those are all unique designs and beautiful.

7/25/2011  Windsor, England - The Windsor Castle is located west from London and open to the public when Queen Elizabeth II is out. I was lucky today because Queen was not at home, so I could see the inside the castle. Inside the castle was decorated in large scale and breathtaking. The guard change ceremony was smaller scale than the Buckingham Palace about 50 soldiers to perform 1 guard change.

7/24/2011  Eltham, London - When I went into the Eltham Palace, I saw the Frank Lloyd Wright's style that 1930s design. Used the red bricks, so that it called the Red House. Ranger's House suppose to open 11am-5pm, however they changed to couple tours only and door was closed, which means no-one to ask, I thought what's un-friendly place. I enjoyed the rose garden & open market at greenwich.

7/23/2011  Marble Hill, London - The Marble Hill House is located southwest of London and Kenwood House is located northwest of London. We can't take photos both inside the houses that were sacks. The Marble Hill House was for the mistress of the King George II. The Kenwood house was remodelled by Robert Adam and library is showing his effort, many paintings inside the house like an art gallery.

7/22/2011  Chelsea, London - Saatchi Gallery is the contemporary art museum, 1st row second from right photo is a reflection of the ceiling on the oil floor. Thomas Carlyle was author of the French Revolution, and visited his house. Chelsea Physic Garden has over 5,000 different plants and trees from all over the world. I also stopped by the National Army Museum and Royal Hospital Chelsea garden.

7/21/2011  Osterley, London - Southwest from the center of London, both Syon House and Osterley House are designed by Robert Adam, who was foremost architect of that time. I visited Syon House first and Osterley House next, I couldn't believe that two rooms were identical, rightmost photo of 1st and 2nd rows, however contents of the rooms are different. Both have beautiful large scale of garden.

7/20/2011  Hampstead, London - 2 Willow Road house was built by modernist architect Erno Goldfinger in 1939. The first photo 1/4 of bothsides are different flats/units, recently right side flat sold with £1,800,000. The Fenton House is a 17th-century house with funiture and musical instruments, and has beautiful garden. Both houses are located near Jane's house in Hampstead.

7/19/2011  Dover, England - Southeast of England sea side 3 castles in one day. Dover Castle is the largest, and most beautiful and well maintained, also has underground 4 miles long secret tunnel. Welmer Castle is the middle size and has beautiful flower and vegetable gardens and nice pond. Deal Castle is the small one and unique design. I was lucky to see France from UK over the English Channel.

7/18/2011  Richmond, London - The Chiswick House and Ham House both houses are located in the Richmond that southwest side of London. The Beatles was at the Chiswick House one time, I took a photo at the same place that they took photo, see last row 3rd from left photo. The river bend called 'ham' and house is located near the River Thames bend, so that the house called the Ham House.

7/17/2011  Tower of London, England - So many people at the Tower of London, and main attraction of this place is the queen's crown, about 1hr of waiting line to get in and only less than one minute of watching time, because floor is moving and no way to stop and spend more time. The admission fee sign was tricky because including a donation. I walked on the Tower Bridge, which located near by.

7/16/2011  Hyde Park, London - The Hyde Park is next to the Green Park, both parks are in large size. I enjoyed at the Rose Garden/Royal Garden in the Hyde Park. The Apsley House is located in the Hyde Park, current owner is living in the 3rd floor and museum below. Royal Albelt Hall is the event/concert center, the tour took me to the queen's seating seat, her own lounge and her own entrance.

7/15/2011  Greenwich Foot Tunnel, London - The secret tunnel under the River Thames...not. The tunnel called the Greenwich Foot Tunnel and open for the public but not many Londoners know it, Avril took me to walk through the tunnel, the view from other side was very nice. Also she showed me around such as open market, Old Royal Naval College, National Mantime Museum, which just opened yesterday.

7/14/2011  Isle of Wight, England - Isle of Wight (pronounce White) is located south of England. The Carisbrooke Castle is a small top of the hill castle. The Osborne House is the final place for the Queen Victoria, who had 9 children. Photos are include town of Portsmouth and Ryde. The small buildings in the Shanklin beach are called beach huts that for rent and use for change clothing or leave personal stuff.

7/13/2011  Cambridge, England - Just like Oxford, there is no such thing one Cambridge University. This town called the Cambridge University by made up with total 31 colleges. Harverd University originator graduated from one of the college of this town. Unbeliable thing is 80 Nobel Prize winners from this town. The Mathematical bridge, 1st row rightmost photo. Round church, symbol of the circle of life.

7/12/2011  St Michael's Mount, Penzance, England - St. Michael's Mount is the island or not that depending the time of the day. Sound strange but true, it's depending on the tide. When I was there, it was high tide and it was the island, ride a boat to get to it. It's located southwest of England and 5 1/2 hrs of train ride from London to get there, long way but worth it, it is a beautiful fantacy castle.

7/11/2011  London Eye, London - London Eye was very quiet and comfortable to ride. Shakespeare's Globe has 900 seats and 600 people stand up between stage and seats. Picasso’s three dancers from the Art Museum. Ordinate people have a jewelry box, where king and queen had a Jewel of Tower that used for long time ago. I have climbed up narrow staircase to all way to the top of the St. Paul's Cathedral.

7/10/2011  Bath, England - Bath is the name of the town and only this town has the hot springs in UK. The Roman Bath is the museum and showing what the roman era bath looks like. There are three hot springs bath houses in the town and one is open for the public and charges £25/2hrs with very modern facility. I also visited to beautiful and impressed the Clifton Suspension bridge in Bristol.

7/9/2011  Brighton, England - I visited south side of the England today. The Royal Pavilion at Brighton is strange because outside is exotic look, and inside is Chinese style decoration. The ocean water is still cold and no-one swiming, but I saw many people and buildings. I also visited the Leeds Castle. It is beautiful castle and garden, and interesting to see the queen's bathtab, last row third from left photo.

7/8/2011  Notting Hill, London - The Notting Hill is a chaming town and have an open market every weekends. I don't believe my eyes that a green house is standing middle of the busy street, which over 500 years old and serves drinks and sandwichs for mainly cab drivers that the local told me. Kensington Garden/Hyden Park, Harrods Department Store, V & A Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum.

7/7/2011  Greenwich, London - The Greenwich Meridian Line at 0 degree longitude, which official starting line for every new day. The last row third from left photo, I was standing both side of that line. I wanted to go to more closer to the Thames Flood Barrier, but rain stopped me. Jane took me to the Abbey Road, which famous for the Beatles zebra crossing, we crossed the road just like the Beatles.

7/6/2011  Oxford, England - I thought the Oxford University is one large university but not. Total 39 small colleges combined and call it for the Oxford University. Bill Clinton, former US President, graduated the Oxford College that only 550 student bodies, that a tiny college. Total students for 39 colleges are about 40,000 and population of this Oxford town is 150,000. The college and church have a special bond.

7/5/2011  Stonehenge, England - I walk to the Castle Cary, which castle was long gone but the jail is still standing in the center of the road. We have to see the Stonehenge from long distance that was not expected and disapointed but I wanted to see it for long time and I am happy now. The Stonehenge that the different looks for every angles that was neat. I also stopped by to the Old Sarum that was a bonus.

7/4/2011  London, England - I saw changing the guard at the Buckingham Palece. It was the changing 2 guards but about total 150 people, which include a red guard group, a blue guard group, and two red uniform band groups spend about one hour. After that I walked on the four bridges, Westminster(1), Golden Jubilee(2), Millennium(3), and London(4). Where (2) and (3) are relatively new pedestrian bridges.

7/3/2011  London, England - I visited the British Museum, National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery and China Town. All those places are popular places. The museum and galleries are free admissions. I noticed that the currency exchange rate is much better in the China Town, for example: about £70 more than an other place for $1,000 exchange. Vertical garden that I never see before, last photo.

7/2/2011  London, England - My dream come true, I am in London, England. I stay in Jane's house, which is 150 years old 3 story house with many rooms, 5 bdrms, 2 seating rooms, 1+3/4 bathrooms, kitchen+dining room and laundry room. No space between houses that called the Terrace style house, and Jane's house is one of them. I was sightseeing in London all day today with tour busses and boat.
